When people say the average Africans have a relatively low IQ, they're not being racist or insulting, it's just a glaring fact backed by a solid body of evidence and tons of data.

But let's leave key issues like this alone and be hating on people urging others to embrace philosophy, critical thinking, and science, which form the bedrock of civilization.

And before you know it now, they'll start blaming the West, colonialization, slavery even in the 21st century without looking inward.

A001:
Lols, you just perused a few posts on his page and came to this wrong conclusion? Did you check the Facebook group he created?

That prof is even one of the various highly eminent Isese practitioners to describe the foolishness of the typical African.

One of his fellow people in art, the late professor of philosophy, Sophie Oluwole gave a series of lectures about the low IQ of the average African that condemns his native culture and traditions while promoting and hyping foreign ones.

I can't find the video now. Even Wole Soyinka too has discussed this same issue before.

If you demonize your ancestors and forefathers while promoting foreign ones, sane people call such mumu dull. That's a classic sign of low intelligence.

You're merely reacting emotionally to key issues, like the typical African. The typical African despises the truth. Most prefer the comforting lies.

Let's blame the West.

Most parts of Africa are underdeveloped: bad roads, poor power supply, and many other poor basic amenities. Those are glaring signs of a continent with dull people as the majority.

Then, the mumu people will start blaming colonial masters, slavery, blah, blah, blah in the 21st century, but before you know it, they'll soon pray to Jehovah or Allah, who are the gods of their colonial and slave masters from Europe and Arabia.

Lols, but they want to develop and grow. People that aren't even intelligent enough to know who their ancestors and forefathers are.

If they're intelligent enough to know who their ancestors and forebears are, at least, they'll know no people can grow without being connected to their roots.

Anyway, make una just dey play sha. Allah or Jehovah most mumu Africans pray to as God will help una develop the continent.

People that don't know their left from their right.

Anytime I see any African praying in the name of any of those two, I just pity how a person can be so dull and unintelligent, praying to two gods, who are both two past humans that so much hated anything African during their times on Earth.

Mumu people are praying in the name of entities that seek to capture and enslave the whole continent and eradicate all that's African about the people.
It’s quite unfortunate that u will not take to corrections and would choose to stick this ur etho-religious-cum-cultural militancy disguised as advocacy .

I had to go back to the man’s Facebook page and all I see is a man stressing the need for people to teach their wards their culture and history . He even threw a dig at Vivour-Rhodes albeit in a manner to encourage other parents teach their children their language so they don’t have a child like Gbadebo enmeshed in controversy of not being able to speak his father’s language and pointing to his father’s house with the left hands ( A La how he was caught making unpleasant remarks about Yoruba’s in the past )

In all of these, the man did not come off as an irritant who would call his own countrymen dull , ignorant , mumu and unintelligent simply because he’s had opportunity to live in America for years . Now that’s a real academic and not some former extremist mulism now turned a confused extremist-agnostic Trado-physicist .

“Most Africans are dull” “Majority of africans are unintelligent “…yen yen yen yen….. I doubt anybody knows ur name beyond the lecturers that have to suffer the agony of reading and using red biro to design whatever gibberish u submit as thesis weekly . You keep going off like this and then wonder why lecturers don’t like u nor do favors for u.

Fact Check: Did Wike Drag Former FCT Minister Bello to EFCC, ICPC over Award of 1km Road Contract at N4bn, ‘Monumental Corruption’?

Claim: A Text Going Viral on Facebook and WhatsApp claims that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike has written to Nigeria’s Anti Graft agencies to invite his predecessor, Mallam Muhammed Bello over alleged monumental corrupt practices including award of a 1km Road in Abuja at a cost of N1bn.

Full Text: The claim which is now circulating across social media platforms reads as follows:

“BREAKING…

Hon Minister Of FCT Hon Wike write to EFCC and ICPC to Invite former Minister of FCT Mallam Muhammed M Bello to explain how he Award 1kM Road from Gaduwa Estate juntion to NCDC Office at the Cost of 4Billion Naira and paid in full

Also Awarded a contract of N10 Billion and later jacked up to N119 Billion,

Awarded Contract of N50 Billion later jack up to N200 Billion,

Awarded contract of N6 Billion and later jack up to 70 Billion,

Awarded an emergency maitanance of Usman Dam at the cost of N9 Billion and paid in full without any BOQ and so many procurement infraction.

Left debt of over N1.2 trillion to FCT without anything show.

Approval of green areas to residential houses and Converting Residential Houses in Wuse 2, Maitama Gana Street, Garki into Commercial in contrary to the Abuja master plan.”

Observations:

In his first speech in office, Nyesom Wike, the new Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, has sent a warning to Abuja residents whose properties violate the city’s masterplan.

He further threatened that he was battle-ready for anyone whose property sat on any location in the city in violation of the Abuja masterplan.

On September 4th, the minister expressed dissatisfaction with the N85 billion contract to provide infrastructure for the Wasa Affordable Housing project in Wasa District, Abuja.

Earlier, Olusegun Olusan, acting coordinator of the Satellite Town Development Department, explained that the contract for the provision of the infrastructure was awarded in 2014 at N26 billion but revised to N85 billion in 2018.

Mr Olusan told the minister that so far, a total of N21 billion had been paid to the contractor with a balance of N64 billion, adding that the percentage of work done so far is 21.4 per cent.

Verification: In reading through the text making the rounds, PRNigeria observed both grammatical and punctuation errors in its composition.

Further keyword search results reveal that no reputable media platforms reported the matter.

The Fact-Check Desk then reached out to the FCT Minister’s office who confirmed they have seen the claim and have already issued a debunk.

PRNigeria was then sent a copy of the statement put out by the Minister’s office and signed by the Director of Press, Anthony Ogunleye, on behalf of the FCT Minister and it reads:

“FCTA PRESS STATEMENT

RE: FALSE ONLINE MEDIA REPORTS REGARDING ALLEGED INVITATION OF EFCC AND ICPC TO INVESTIGATE FORMER FCT MINISTER

The Office of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister wishes to address recent online media reports that have surfaced, claiming that the FCT Minister, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike plans to invite the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to investigate the immediate past FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, in relation to certain irregularities in the award of contracts and other such matters.
We categorically and unequivocally state that these reports are entirely baseless and without any merit whatsoever. The FCT Minister, during his routine inspections of various projects within the FCT, has indeed expressed concerns and frustrations regarding irregularities observed in the procurement and execution of certain projects, amongst other observations which he very publicly expressed.
However, at no point did he contemplate or authorize any action by anyone within or outside the FCT Administration to invite the EFCC or ICPC to investigate the former FCT Minister in connection with these or any other matters.
The online story in question is nothing more than a product of the imagination of its authors and is clearly designed to mischievously sow discord and confusion among the general public.
We view such misinformation with great concern and urge the public and well-meaning Nigerians to exercise caution and discernment when encountering such unfounded reports.
The FCT Minister remains focused on his responsibilities to ensure the efficient and transparent administration of the Federal Capital Territory. Any actions or decisions taken by the FCTA in this regard will be communicated through official channels and in accordance with due process.
We hereby advise the general public to disregard the story in its entirety, as it is nothing but a deliberate attempt to spread fake news and create unnecessary tensions.
Barrister Nyesom Wike remains committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability in the discharge of his duties and remains committed to building the FCT of our collective dreams.
Conclusion: Findings by PRNigeria reveal that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike did not carry out or authorize any action to invite the EFCC or ICPC to investigate the former FCT Minister in connection with the award of any road contract as this has been debunked by the Minister’s office in addition to the fact that no reputable media reported such matter.

PRNigeria therefore concludes that the claim that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike wrote to Nigeria’s Anti Graft agencies to invite former FCT Minister, Mallam Muhammed Bello over alleged monumental corruption during his tenure is FALSE.

I ain't worried about my data amongst all other billions of data. It's getting to the point now where one doesn't need to go to school anymore, Google and it's products can teach you everything you need. You change phone, all your contacts and apps are up and running in 15 mins. Professional development and update of skills is all coming from Google products,

Even in personal life, I learned to cook properly from YouTube, not just Naija food but other cultures foods as well. Even in DIY which is a big hobby of mine, YouTube has almost turned me into a professional builder. Last couple of months, I converted my garden using YouTube. Everything from installing french drains to aco drains to geotextile membranes, laying and compacting aggregate to laying artificial grass, block, mortar and concrete work plus resin stone and patio work was learned from YouTube. Over the years, I have learned all manner of joinery works and furniture making, painting and decorating and how to use building tools from same YouTube. E done reach where na only electric and gas I no dey touch again. And I have never paid $1 to Google for all this. All for the inconvenience of seeing or watching few ads every now and then.

I don't think there is anyone doing anything professionally today who didn't learn a good chunk of their craft, or stayed up to date with developments without Google products. You have to give it to them. And I have been biased since the first day I saw the maths behind their page rank algorithm. I stan Sergey Brin and Larry Page wella, they decentralised learning and gathering of information.

Combat sports, especially MMA, is like the movie Kung Fu Hustle. There is always a bigger boss somewhere, and if you fight long enough you will meet the person that will disgrace you. Then you factor in the depreciation of athletic prowess as you get older as well as the reduction in drive and hunger as you make more money.

Keep wasting your time mentioning me unnecessarily. The prof has said a lot of similar things I stated here.

I don't have the time to start digging and posting his writings here and others made by other thinkers like him.

And I don't even see the need to post any here when even in some of his posts I've shared here before, the prof discussed the low intelligence of people condemning their culture and traditions.

Another contemporary of the prof, Adeola Soetan, made a similar post on his page talking about the same thing just last week as he's done numerous times in the past.

But you can keep living in the delusion that Africa has intelligent people in high numbers, yet everywhere around reeks of underdevelopment and poverty.

Some people are simply daft. How can you lay claim to intelligence when you don't even know who your ancestors and forebears are, when your continent is backward and underdeveloped?

What's the proof of the high intelligence of the average African? There's none.

U still don’t get it. Eminent scholars like the late professor Akinwumi Ishola have been promoting the Yoruba Culture and language through their literary works since the 60’s yet they do not come off as radicals who would insult their countrymen as “mumu” simply cos they choose to exercise their freedom of religion.

Apart from the fact that u suffer from delusion which u a projecting on others ( it’s only delusion that can make u think u are the only one who knows the history of his people ); u also suffer from inferiority complex which makes u think ur fellow Africans are unintelligent (This u mask by claiming it’s foreign religion that’s responsible for underdevelopment in Africa )

Islam and Christianity are religions that originated from the Middle East; yet European countries and American countries who adopted the foreign religions are developed . That alone has shown u are incapable of critical reasoning to see beyond the stupid bias of assuming every of Africa’s problem is linked to adopting foreign religions .

Perhaps if if u will take time to read real historical books u will learn more about Africa’s multi-faceted problems which religion is just but a tiny bit of.

Attached below is a post of Adeola Soetan, an OAU alumnus like Moyo Okediji, talking about the same problem just recently, as he has done many times in the past.

At various times, Wole Soyinka has said the same thing. Sophie Oluwole called such people a 'big fool' in one of her videos. I've posted her video here as well but I don't have time to start digging now.

But you're so delusional that you feel otherwise yet there's no proof. Most parts of the continent don't have a stable power supply, good roads, good hospitals, and other basic amenities you find in other parts of the world, yet the average African is highly intelligent to you.

Some people like fooling themselves by not facing reality.
