Where did I even mention politics ? Reread what I said and our general conversation. You don't seem to be aware of the proceedings of a conversation in which you were half of the participants.

Also, my uncle (Godwin) backstabbing of everybody around him (including family members) is not a sign of intelligence in my definition, it is you and your fellow "classicist geniuses" whom have elevated backstabbing to the level of master-genius-fabulous-stroke.

Four remarkable things that happened after Shaibu went to court:

He was denied coming close to Obaseki in the church.
His aides were not allowed entrance during 60th anniversary of Midwest.
His sister in-law had been sacked as permanent secretary.
His press crew disbanded.

Cleverly, they prevailed on him to withdraw the suit to foster peace. He did. Now, they have moved him from his office to a place where he won't have any contact with his principal as it used to be. The bell is tolling already.

Next couuld be plans for impeachment. And his absence from the same vicinity will make it easy for even his supposed friends to conspire with the governor's men unhindered and without fear or pity. This is politics. He may not complete his tenure. Over ambition is already consuming a sitting deputy governor.

Leave morals out of politics. Your uncle is so intelligent as to know that it's either he gets killed politically or he kills his hunters if he doesn't want to die. His fight against Oshiomole, whether right or wrong has made him gladiatorial before his caucus as well.

Ganduje was Kwankwaso's deputy. Gawuna (Kano APC candidate) was Gandujes deputy.

Some people will never go far in life because of pride. You want to be a Governor and you already a deputy. All you have to do is to asslick the present Governor and when be supports you and you win, you can play him a movie like Ganduje and Kwankwanso. 😂

What baffles him is that this same deputy fought his adopted brother(Osho) for Obaseki oh. Now dem don give am pick 2.

If not witchcraft, I don't understand why Nigerian governors and presidents would not want to be succeeded by their deputies.

One would think that since the deputy governors understand the programs and projects of the governors, they're in a better position to succeed the governors but no, Nigerian governors would rather die than allow that.

Why do we like Politics with bitterness here in Nigeria?
For example, what OBJ did to Tinubu can be forgiven,as President Tinubu has moved on since but can Lagosians forgive OBJ for deliberately refusals to give the Lagos State People their own Federation Money?
But look at today,Tinubu is now the President!
