I have this PayPal account i created 2 years ago using the Lesotho method. I recently linked the account to Wise and even made a withdrawal which I received after 2 days.

Now PayPal is requesting for more information. Every other thing is within my reach except the "PayPal proof of address verification document"

PayPal says they would accept utility bill but my fear is that when they see Nigeria there won't they just go ahead and close the account.

Has any been able to scale pass this hurdle? How did you do it?

I can only make payment for the document after you provide it because I have being scammed before here on nairaland and I believe the God of Karma will send thunder of fire to that scammer who scam me here.

Ignore the guy. He is a scammer. I currently have a $100 PayPal dispute open with him.

Thank you boss, gone are the days when you trade and have genuine business here on Nairaland and it always go smoothly and fine but nowadays those bstd scammers and MF**K have turn nairaland to place where to scam hard working guys.
You can open dispute against the guy and get your fund back. I am not an expert on PayPal issue but I hope you get your money back.

I went to uba and generated statement for my dorm account, I was believing that since they have branches in other countries it would help but it didn't.

Pay Pal still went ahead and close the account.

how can you make that costly mistake

PayPal doesn't recognize Nigerian and as such how would you send them uba bank statement

Sorry about your loss concerning your account with fund, I think what Paypal need is utility bill from Lesotho and we only use our Nigerian ID at first opening of Paypal account, I also submitted NEPA bill for my address verification which was rejected by Paypal since then I have been trying to see if I can get the Lesotho utility bill but there are many scammer looking for who to devour on their hard earn income and also one foolish scammer here on Nairaland scammed " Gasayi" he talk like someone who has good intention but he is a professional scammer. Since then I lost interest in getting utility bill for my Paypal account.

I have not really had the time but any time I decide to open PayPal again, I think the best way to get Lesotho utility bill is by going to Facebook. From FB you can find someone who resides in Lesotho. That’s the best way.

I didnt succeed. Someone on Nairaland who used to help people verify their Lesotho paypal account sent me Lesotho utility bill. The guy actually told he had stopped the service because of too many unsuccessful verification but then I can try my luck.

I submitted the utility bill to PayPal and after some days they replied with account is totally suspended. Though they allowed me withdraw my funds after 2 months.

I will suggest you go on Facebook and look for someone in Lesotho who might help you with utility bill.

Though they first asked me for Uk ID which I submitted and was approved. But the bank statement was the problem

Yes you can verify your identity with your Nigerian document but that address part has to be Lesotho and very authentic

I think it should. I actually used their prepaid USD card to verify the account. Then I linked the account to my wise account and was able to withdraw. Everything was going fine until I started receiving money back to back that's when PayPal restriced the account.

That's thing with PayPal. When money starts coming in frequently their attention will be awaken.

Wise was just for withdrawing my money from PayPal.
