Nigerian jolof rice is the most balanced of all. The rest are either over garnished or just look weird

Main ingredients: rice, olive oil, garlic, turmeric powder, cilantro, etc.
(It's usually served as a side)

As a food enthusiast, rice is my favourite of all foods, simply because it's so versatile.
There's so much you can do with rice.
There are so many recipes you can create with it.
The possibilities are just endless.

So, I did a research on rice dishes from other countries, and these are some of the ones that I really really like (judging by their ingredients and method of preparation)

Let's begin with the queen mother of rice dishes.

Nigeria's jollof

Main ingredients: Rice, meat of choice (usually chicken), tomatoes/peppers blend, spices, etc.

They say our Nigerian jollof does not come close.

Are you sure? Words have it that it's very very delicious.

That American Jambalaya and Senegalese Jollof rice really enter my eye. No wonder the Sene Jollof was at a time rated the best in West Africa. For me, rice is the ultimate food. Just love it wherever/whenever.

I'm not talkin about taste. I just hate those tiny tiny rice, it looks somehow. And u know we feed d eyes first before d mouth.. Na d rice spoil am for me.
