I need a new laptop and it has to be a macbook pro though I'm a big fan of linux I can't go for dell or lenovo this time because it won't work with Xcode. I heard the M3 will be faster and better than the M2 but how long will it take before they ship ? Should I wait ?

I know but in this case, the M3 might come with better support for things like docker, some people are complaining of segmentation fault with the M2 currently

Boss, I sell MacBook you can patronize me when you’re ready .
It’s best you go with gaming laptop and just Linux as your operating system .
But the biggest factor you should consider is the GPU, cPU , AND SSD if you want to buy macbook

Would suggest waiting for the m10 or m200

I’ll highly recommend you wait.
The only reason is because I didn’t wait. Got a $3k 2019 MacBook Pro Intel with mad spec just a week to launch of M1.

The guy packed up just after a year. I changed the motherboard but it packed up again after 7 months.

I was aware it (the series) had a few known issues around virtualization with Intel CPU which I used a lot . Yet , I couldn’t wait for a week. iOS work was waiting though.

A problem M1 meticulously solved with ARM.

Every MacBook lineup got their issues . But you won’t get much speed different from a year apart except it’s a complete new type of tech in the coming lineup .

Even if they release the next like this week , it will take time for it to get to naija official stores . You will have to preorder and wait or ship immediately from abroad
