Nelsolala:Wow. Our people are into pharmaceuticals so much. We need more of such companies in the state. Greenlife, Neros and their likes should all key in. |

TundeBricklayer:Good finishing! I think it's dawned on the state gov't that Anambra people have good taste.....hence the constructive criticisms one normally sees on this thread, and that they wouldn't settle for any poorly constructed road that looks like what the contractor could have used to learn work! Hope the LG responsible maintains it and keeps it as tidy as it looks now. |

TundeBricklayer:Excellent development!! I pray Soludo would also touch key cities in Anambra ESPECIALLY in Nnewi and Onitsha, so that his efforts to develop the entire state do not appear one-sided. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIMH2ZDT4sQ |

TundeBricklayer:Wow… this Awesome… indeed this a rapid development. Thank you so much for that update. Brother take a look at that road leading to the bonded terminals… do you see how thin it is? How will those roads be efficient… both in durability and space. That road will be plied by huge lorries with Heavy containers. Will it be those Golgotha roads that will carry them? Also the business are already bracing for expansion and ANSG can’t anticipate and do some thing quickly You see why I frown at the roads ANSG builds? Our Government is not proactive at all… i cry and wail for wide and durable roads. And when they construct roads they term some rural roads being a reason why they can’t construct wides roads even when both sides are empty with covered drains slight poles and traffic lights. This tells you they are not in tune that Anambra is developing all round. Later we will start begging them to dualized some roads after is heavily or densely occupied on both sides which is almost an impossible request..You see is foolishness. Is this how we become a developed city ? They should make a laws ; henceforth how new roads will be built… to stop this mediocrity every where If I say… some will support this mediocrity and lack of insights. You beg investors to bring investments home yet you can’t build a good city roads…I mean is terrible. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Nelsolala: 8:03pm On Sep 15, 2023 |
All the bounded terminals shown are on the Enugu Onitsha Express. No matter how much we want dual carriage roads, ALL roads can't be dualized. Its not about mediocrity or lack of insight. Its not possible. Armon: |

Bestmanfornow:This gigantic project will be great for the entire Aguata and Orumba after completion. Yet I am sorry to say that nothing serious is going on here. With this pace, I doubt if Soludo will deliver this project in his first tenure. Christmas is fast approaching and if nothing significant is done on this project, then it will be very difficult for motorists to navigate this roundabout. Are they going to make it inaccessible for those going to Mkpologwu, Uga, Oko, Nanka, Agulu, and the rest? It may seem as though I am demanding too much but then what our Governor is delivering at the moment is not on par with what he promised during his campaign. So we will keep on pushing and demanding for the best. God bless our dear state! |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by ChimaAdeoye: 9:06pm On Sep 15, 2023 |
Armon:You accurately diagnosed the entire problem with Anambra state in this post! MEDIOCRITY AND LACK OF FORESIGHT in always building tiny single-lane roads everywhere! It is not rocket science for anyone to understand that huge trailers would be used in bringing the bonded containers. So why build tiny roads that huge trailers can barely fit in? This tiny road disease of Anambra must stop. I hope the Solution Fun City will not be another housing layout with tiny single lanes everywhere! |

SOLUDO BEGINS INTERVENTION ON FAILED NNOBI AXIS OF THE NNOBI-NKPOR FEDERAL ROAD By Christian Aburime In a move that shows a commitment to the well-being of the citizens, Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has taken a decisive action to address the gully erosion on Nnobi axis of the Nnobi-Nkpor Federal Highway. Recall that on September 5, 2023, Governor Soludo paid an on-the-spot assessment visit to the portion where he immediately promised to mobilize and commence intervention on the federal road. The severed road is a major road which connects the entire Onitsha and Idemili to Nnobi, Nnokwa, Nnewi, Aguata and most of Anambra south and the Country at large. A team of experts from the State's Ministry of Works, led by the Commissioner, Engr Ifeanyi Okoma quickly mobilized to assess the road's deplorable condition and came up with a comprehensive remedial plan to address it The remedial measures taken by Governor Soludo's administration in response to the failed road will significantly improve accessibility, safety, and the overall driving experience for the people. Without the Governor's timely intervention, the road which had been cut off will have continued to be a source of frustration and safety concerns. As a result of his leadership, commuters, and road users will breathe a sigh of relief as they will begin to travel with ease and confidence on the reconstructed road. Indeed, the Governor has set a positive example of what responsible governance looks like and demonstrated how leaders can use their position to prioritize the needs of their people.
