*CP ASABI CONDEMNS ATTACK ON DR. ADEBUNMI OSADAHUN, ORDERS PROBE INTO WHAT LED TO THE ASSAULT*

The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, CP Asabi Abiodun psc, has condemned the attack on Dr Adebunmi OSADAHUN, who is also the Commissioner for Women Affairs in the State.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the Commissioner who was in the Akoko area to see to the distribution of State palliatives was attacked by the assailant named Awolumate Olumide, while having a meeting with some members in the Area.

The CP has ordered that a thorough investigation be carried out and the case transferred to the SCID, Akure for further probe into what led to the Assault.

The assailant name "Awolumate" literarily means "One who enters the town with his honour held intact or upright" This is the opposite in this case. This guy violently raised his hands on a woman, he has therefore become a big disgrace to his family and has no single honour left in his pocket. Oga, shame to you. "O ti wo'lu te"

The other day in Ibadan, they were stealing from a moving bus. Now, they are beating up their mother in the name of palliative sharing.

But look at us, we are still balling.

This is bad and uncalled for. That man should be prosecuted immediately for assaulting a government official. If not he will be boasting about on how he assaulted a commissioner and nothing happened. This is evident that he is a wife beater. He won't dare do that if she has heavy security entourage or the commissioner is a man.
It's a waste of time for investigating the reason on what led to the assault. I believe the woman in her sense of integrity made herself available without much security detail in ensuring fairness in the distribution of the palliatives
