The government of Anambra State finds it disappointing and regrettable that Electricity Transformers bought with tax payers’ money and given to our communities by the previous administration to improve their power supply are yet to be installed and utilized by these communities.

Electricity business is a private business.

If Government is providing transformer and communities are expected to foot the installation bills.

On what moral ground should they pay bills, cos the government bought those transformers with the people's tax money.

I hope soludo still has common sense to warn companies not to charge for the electricity cos even the gas plants were built with taxed money and gas is our birth right.

Who will sponsor the installation?
I learnt that installation of a new transformer cost almost 2m.

Something Peter obi gave out in 2013 and some are yet to install theirs.
