Sold USD/CAD and bought NZD/JPY, I thought I should be in about 50pips profit on the UC only to login and saw my trade had already closed even though price was about a pip below my SL, the spread probably gave me uppercut on that one, one of those unlucky days.

NJ on the other hand was too dull today, very little volatility which resulted in closing the trade few minutes ago with a measly 8pips profit or thereabouts. Definitely buying again tomorrow if it drops to where I picked it up from today.

Tomorrow is another day, account summary image attached below. Just 4 trades, one SL hit and three other below TP but still in profit nonetheless.

NJ didn't come down for me to pick it up at all, even moved past my TP by 30pips😞. The fear of overnight gap made me lose my sweet spotted 75pips.

With the look of things, I'm not going to get any entry today. We close shop for the week to be reopened on Monday.

I finally found a long lasting solution to my problem after ransacking this thread back to 3months.

I would never keep trade over the weekends, but I really do need to keep some till the next day at least, but haven't known how to go about it until I saw this here. Thank you Dmahn.

You are welcome boss. One major negative effect of removing SL before market closure and putting it back is Forgetfulness.... Always remember to put SL back b4 sleeping that day which means you have to stay woke till arround 12-1am.... I don make mistake sleep off while trying not to sleep so as to return my SL. The loss wey I see the ff morning just be like say there was CPI combined with NFP overnight

The solution to your problem is much easier than that.

Trade pairs with low initial spread like eurusd.

Have wide stop loss if you want to hold it over the weekend...20 pips or more is enough sef.

No juju broker will use spread widening to kill eurusd entry with 20 or 30 pips stop loss over weekend.

why pegging it at 10? all things been equal it should almost engulf yesterday bull run. if i didnt adjust my S.L i would have been wicked out before the fall.

I'm currently trading about 15pairs and yet still hardly get the setup that really meet up to my strategy, limiting it to 2 or 3 means I might not trade for a month then.

My US30 short is currently at 57pips and looking to get 800pips ish. I short or long at support, and don't see any thing down there; even if I see, I don't obey or believe those things (supports/resistance). However, when they do occur while I'm on an ongoing trade, I'm happy to see because it sets a support or resistance for other types of trader
