Would Lagos Be More Progressive If It Were Under A Igbo Government? by Davidtalo121(op): 3:16pm On Sep 22, 2023
If let's say for instance we got a very strong candidate from the south east who became the governor of Lagos state cause of his popularity or his good personality.
Do you guys think he'll do better as a governor if given the chance? Like make the workforce of Lagos state more diverse, include a cultural diversity inclusion and be more sensitive to the minorities while making Lagos state more attractive?
Or he'll Bleep up like most of his colleagues in south east and would just make people regret ever voting for him?
Or do you think it might be both cause it depends on the character and personality of the individual not the tribe he's from?

If the last answer is correct, then why's state government bodies only restricted to the people of the same state?

If the eastern states of Anambra or abia had the investment that the federal government did on Lagos, the east would be better than south Africa

The greedy scavengers are always on the prowl.

There should be no instance where an Igbo man would be a governor of Lagos state.
And if there be, looking at the 5 Eastern states Lagos would definitely be taken back to 1970.
God forbid Lagos be looking like the Eastern states.
The best state in led by an Igbo man produces and IGR of just 2b a month less that what many local governments in Lagos produce.
People that can't develop their region want to develop Lagos.

Very nauseating question. Why can’t they do well in southeast? If they can’t do well at home, they can never do well outside.

Lol, it's not going to happen.

Ibo land which is Just the size of Oyo state, even the population will just be slightly above that of Oyo state has five governors and the people there are still refugees everywhere.

Lagos has more population than entire ibo land

That means five ibo governors can not even do what just one Yoruba governor is doing.

It is foolishness to think you can rule over people that are better and smarter than you in all ramifications..there is no single ibo game that Yorubas don't understand
