Stop deceiving yourself. Just because erosions happen does not mean there are no permanent/effective solutions out there. undecided

■ Nigerians are stranded on that road, lets help amplify this so that relevant authorities will do something.
Since Orlu is hotbed of insecurity, most people traveling from Akwa ibom,Cross River, Aba, Enugu, Owerri to Lagos, plies that Onitsha-Owerri road.
What are the landowners and community members in the affected areas still waiting for though? undecided

Maybe we should just create pathways through SE for gully erosion and move everyone to SW and NC...the rate of erosion and the cost will be enormous...and given that they will be ungrateful anyways like Niger Bridge 2...it's not necessary to bother..

Now on the other hand if they can clean their criminals and desire to be grateful...option number 2 is overhead bridge and cement concrete barriers to protect houses and farmlands...with large gutters for waters to drain to the SS and into the Ocean...this will cost trillions so we need to have them put all these promises in writing lol

Finally, nice one....they should allow the water to breath. Creat way for water to pass. If you don't,the water will be force to creat its own part and when it happens,it's disastrous

Lagos and South East have something in common which is Collapse.

If house no collapse for Lagos then roads the collapse for South East.

And one thing is constant! A particular tribe live in both places.

Lagos and South East are like 5&6.

The government should please look into this constant collapse as it has multiplier effects. It affects the economic activities of both regions. Lives are lost and economic activities are stalled.

I see what you did there with that subtle jab u threw at my tribe but it's well. 😂

Road collapse due to flood is not restricted to Lagos and south east. Happened in Ogun, Oyo, Delta, Bauchi and many other places in Nigeria. Even for USA, UK, Japan and many other countries. Be aware of climate change.

The soil under much of those trees and bushes is loose, that is why erosion is common there and deep. If much of that can be resolved, the problem will be curbed in many areas. undecided

This is were you need them to come and show there prowess just like they have being developing my darling Lagos and other places, but no they rather covet some else property. Honestly they need our people because for the few of us that have been fortunate to visit alaibo, it looks more like a dejected town where even the habitat even don’t wish to stay. Ibo should redirect their development to home, they need it more not cheat beating around about developing other people’s places.

Don't worry, the developer will fix it.
No, sorry, the BLA will fix it, since that region is controlled by them.

They can't expect the FG to give any contractor any road in that region considering all the activities of BLA/UGM etc...

Well, their Billionaires can help dem fix it of Ekpa can send some money for it or their Governors can fix it or Abaribe can fix it so that the BLA/UGM will not attack the Construction Firm, after repairs FG will refund whoever fix it.

Stop sounding like an oaf.

Nigeria is a federal republic where resources are taken from the states to the centre to be equitably distributed.

It is the duty of the federal government to construct and maintain federal roads in all states of the federation.

Nigeria is a State with a Constitution, not your village or kindred.

Take your asinine reasoning and shove it up your inferior posterior anatomical orifice.
