That's why the Abuja CBD looks like a joke.

They turned the lands into speculative instruments while the place lays fallow and unappealing. CBD in many major cities are where the activities are but the one in Abuja becomes a ghost location after 8pm.

Are these foreign embassies God that must be worshipped? So he should revoke the lands of genuine citizens of Nigeria for contravening on an agreement but shouldn't do that for foreigners? It's people like you that lick arse of foreigners and worship them like gods. If for anything, it's even these foreign embassies that should lead by example when they're in a foreign land. If these foreigners can renege on an agreement, which they wouldn't dare try to do with another country, then it shows you how despicable and lowly they regard Nigeria, and Nigeria accordingly has to use them to set an example that it doesn't give a hoot about who they are! It irritates me when I see Nigerians like you worship foreigners like they're your God. Spits!

I don't blame you, some of you have never stepped foot in Abuja before in your life so you won't understand what's going on. People are allocated lands by the government to develop within a specific time, they collect C of Os and then refuse to build or erect uncompleted buildings which harbor criminals and other social misfits while there are people ready with money looking for lands to develop and run their business or whatever. Now some of these people who really need to make use of these lands at some choice locations are being forced to pay very high amount of monies to the original allottees to buy those lands. Imagine collecting land from government at 20Million naira with the agreement that you'd develop within two years, then you leave the land for 10 years without development and want to resell at 500million naira.

Some of those plots have been allocated since 1999, no development is ongoing, rather they become safe havens for criminals. Abandoned and fallow plots littered all over the city, meanwhile their are people/embassies with money ready to buy and develop.

Those ones , i can understand, the Embassies nko?
Do you understand , hostility can affect businesses , alliances and co? Because the governor has power (Obviously his kids are american or british citizens) , he is entitled to their passport, Does it make you have a British or American Passport? Reason am well.
Sometimes, we need to reason far and wide before we concur to idiotic pacts these people bring herein.

My point is, This man is going about these the totally bizarre way! This is no Leadership. I was a fan of Wike, but these days, I do not know what else to believe any longer! Na utter nonsense this man day do so.

Then let the embassies do the right thing and abide by the laws of the country they're in! If the agreement said that if they fail to develop the land at a certain period, it would be revoked, then what is wrong is what the minister is doing. Wike is even being gracious by giving 3 extra months grace. Most of these embassies can't try this shit with other countries! So doing it here in Nigeria shows you the level of disregard and disrespect they have for Nigeria as a nation and her laws. If for anything, they should even be the ones leading by example. That they're an embassy doesn't give them the right to act as they please in total disregard to the laws of the country that accommodates them. I'm sure they'd never have given Nigeria any period of grace if the Nigerian embassy had breached an agreement on land development in their country. I applaud the minister. I think it's high time we get people to start doing the right thing in this country, irrespective of who they are!

I however feel revocation of their titles perhaps a step too far.

Revocation is a step too far but demolishing a property worth millions of Naira is okay by you undecided

Anyone who has property to develop should do so or transfer it. This is the capital city we're talking about and not just any state.
