Those given 3 months grace period only need to brace up and start their building projects.

They can as well sell to those who with financial capacity, willing to buy and ready to start building. At least the properties must have appreciated in value.

Civil Engineers, Construction Companies, Contractors, Building Material's Sellers, Site
Engineers, Labourers and so on will benefit
from this move.

it's only thieves that are building in Abuja for now. No sane org or person will be building any major project in these tartad state of the nation. He can revoke the allocations and eat it, everybody is just barley surviving talkless of building skyscrapers.

Some of those embassies have buildings they use as offices in Abuja and would rather continue paying the rents from the application fees of Nigerians.

Value of land about to crash in the FCT. I know a few person's who held R of Os and refused to sell, hoping that prices would appreciate further so they could sell at a premium.

However, as soon as Wike became FCT Minister and began issuing threats, many of these land titles flooded the market, leading to a crash in their real value..

And now with these revocations and further threats, I expect to see more titles, especially in areas serviced with infrastructure hitting the market and being sold for far less than they are truly worth in the Abuja property market.

I however feel revocation of their titles perhaps a step too far.

I agree ... revocation is extreme at this point. Those without plans should be given two weeks to submit.... and everyone 3 months to begin work. If not... then a heavy fine should be imposed for failure to begin..... and a heavy per day fine after for non compliance up to 6 months. Then revocation of title . Seems they got the prime lands for investment and not development. Wike is good for such positions ... need a tough ...fearless no nonsense person to put things on track. Too many in positions of power have no balls .... they're afraid to do the right thing because of fear.

among all the countries he mentioned which one is even ready to build an embassy in Nigeria? though the mustn't build in Abuja they can go to another state acquire a land, it must not be in Abuja. am ready to sacrifice my land in the village for German embassy free

You guys are talking about rules and order when you are talking about foreign embassies cum diplomatic relations with other countries? It seems you guys are ready to cut your nose to spite your face, just for political, tribal and other stupid sentimental reasons.
Now if the Canadian French and other embassies designated for revocation of their land decides to leave Nigeria, who will suffer the consequences? Not wike, not the political elites and definitely not president Tinubu, most of them including their children families and households already have Canadian, British, US, French, UAE, etc., passports. It is the ordinary Nigerians that wants to japa, do business or school in these countries that will suffer. Already ordinary Nigerians are banned/prevented from travelling to many countries of the world because of the green passport. If these countries should close their embassies, you and I would have to travel to Ghana (with all the inconveniences and cost) to obtain visas.
Thus the reason I support a law that would ban anyone with dual citizenship from becoming a president, Governor or minister. If wikes and his family have no where else to japa to they would be more responsible in making policies.

Such issues are handled diplomatically and not through threats and blackmail. The ministry of foreign affairs along with the president should be the ones engaging the country in building befitting embassies in Abuja, in order to improve diplomatic relations. Besides, such decisions as building embassies is taken by the home government and has to be appropriated. Wike can't possibly expect such budget to be approved, money released and construction started under 3 months.

Are Nigerians being forced to apply for visas? Since you feel Nigerians are being siphoned by visa fees, the have the choice to stop applying for visas.

Not that I support the way the embassies and even foreign countries are treating Nigerians, but if we learn to stay in our country and develop it instead of trooping to foreign lands and start constituting nuisance, we would be treated better.
Also note that the embassies need to maintain their diplomatic staff and infrastructure. They pay their staff the same salary and allowances in as they would have been paid in their home country. They pay the same running cost as every other Nigerian business ie NEPA bill, fuel, generator, water, etc.
