Update on the challenge account I started two weeks ago which is ending this Friday. Max DD is 3% which is 97,000 of a 100k account. Account closed last week with +5.27% profit with just 4 trades taken.

Couldn't get a setup on Friday and yesterday, but I got one already today and other two pending. I just sold EU not quite long ago with a 20pips SL and 60pips TP with a VAR of 0.7$. If the three trades gets activated and hit stoploss, daily loss is will be 2%.

The other two trades are: Buy Cad/Jpy and Buy Aud/Chf. 1:3RR. Stoploss or TakeProfit should do the job while I'm off to Netflix. Happy trading day ahead.

If u are trading indices, use Dow Jones newswire. For currency pairs use ..Moneycontrol,Reuters, Bloomberg,finance magnates and tradingeconomics. Just go through them and pick one or two.

Was in ur shoes in Mar. i was blowing acc back2back btw nov to mar. Infact when salary comes i know a percentage is going into purchasing prop acc. These periods i was just buying acc hoping i will somehow make it to live without any clear cut strategy or discipline. had to give up in march and told myself i wasnt going to trade again untill am really ready both in knowledge and discipline. I used this window period to finetune my skills and tested on demo plus reading different materials and watching videos placing major emphasis on how to stay discipline and control emotions. I knew I had a good strategy for the 3 pairs i trade but disciplin and emotions always get the best of me. I also followed this thread back to back was getting different trade ideas from ppl here plus discord groups of various prop firm.
if your decision to stay off trading to improve urself to become a better trader and come back stronger then i agree with u on that but giving up trading after you have come this far is a sign of accepting defeat at the gate of success.
