obainojazz:The main problem is that Europe's team is not balanced. Too many attacking players. 3 defenders and no full backs or wing backs. Beckenbauer, Baresi, Maldini are gods but gods sef fit collect. |

GloriousGbola:Language is a powerful tool.. there is a reason China is deliberately exporting her language & culture outside her borders. For all it popularity & importance in Nigeria, the English language is not our native/indigenous language. Some fmr British colonies in Asia don't recognise english as their only official language..like Singapore, Kuwait, Malaysia, Bangladesh & India. If i see person wey wan translate books to his native language, i go support am. |

raumdeuter:Drop Garrincha and put R9. Garrincha can't displace Zico cos Mane Garrincha was a pure touchline wizard and Zico would be far better in central areas. Di Stefano is the one that keeps getting overlooked because of his peripatetic international career. If we consider him South American he gets in ahead of Zico or Garrincha. If we consider him European he has multiple avenues of getting in. The only players IMO that are definitively better than him are Pele, Messi, CR7, Maradona. |

obainojazz:You no dey watch all those Marvel movies? When gods meet other gods, some gods must collect. You are isolating Beckenbauer, Baresi, Maldini against Messi, Maradona, Pele and co with Cafu and Carlos bombing down the outside and you don't think there will be blood on the dancefloor? I would remove Platini, push Cruyff infield and add Thuram as RB. Switch to a 4-man defense. |

afrodoc2:That’s why I said the European defenders might not contain the South America forwards. The names you mentioned will beat those defenders 7 out of 10 times. |

larride:Not really. He is the boss. He is just trying to respect the unwritten rule of power going to Edo Central. Surely he will have his preferred candidate from Edo Central like almost all governors. I love him much more for doing something like this. Power rotation. Shuiabu is from Edo North, now is not their turn. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:The English language all these people dey carry for head like say na their native language, how many scientists did they even have some centuries ago? Very few. The British people had to translate many books of philosophy and science to English language from Latin and Greek, and that was how they started developing science in English, their mother tongue. Today, English is the primary language of the science world. In the past, it used to be Greek and Latin. But people here dey antagonize those of us doing the same thing for the native languages of Africa, which the Britons did in the past to develop science in the native culture. They don't realize that mostly, as an African, you can't do science in English, which you don't even understand well like the Britons (the owners of the language), and understand science to the extent that you'll apply your knowledge to invent things. It's you when do science and understand it in your mother tongue you can start inventing things. It's just a fact. Most Africans doing science don't understand it. Even for the first-class and second-class-upper students in universities, most just do "la cram la pour" to pass exams. Ask them to explain what they learnt after the exams, most can't remember. It's a fact. How can you apply your knowledge to invent anything if you can't even remember concepts and principles in science after sitting exams? But if you do science in your mother tongue, you'll be able to remember it well and connect with the concepts and principles at a deeper level. It's this connection you need to invent things. The world doesn't really care about how many laws of physics or formulas a person knows if they can't apply their knowledge to invent and solve problems humanity is facing. The major problem of Africa today is that science isn't developed in the native languages, and this is one reason why the continent is backward and contributes next to nothing to world's development. Hence, it's of paramount importance for Africans to strive to develop science in their native languages. This will enable Africans to solve myriad problems they face. The solution to our problems in Africa can't be found by engaging in prayer or sacrifice to a god or worship of a god. It lies in good use of the brain and doing science in our natural languages, the local languages. The best way to study nature, i.e. do science, is to use that medium of communication that nature has gifted you with: your mother tongue. |

The photo below is such interesting code, what's called "odu" in Yoruba. I'm sure only few Yoruba people here know that "Odu Ifa" means "the code of Ifa" literarily. Ifa was an ancient philosopher, programmer, and scientist who knew tons of codes (odus). The knowledge of philosophy, science, and programming is indigenous to the Yoruba culture or Isese, just like it's to the Igbo, Ijaw, Ebira, Ibibio, and many other native cultures of Africa. Endeavor to do science in your mother tongue as the ancestors and forebears did so that your culture and people can develop and meet up with their peers from advanced parts of the world.

OkpaNsukkaisBae:Saudi Arabia, specifically parts of the Arabian peninsula, sef na former British colony. But Arab is the primary language of those Arabs after English. But if you tell a typical Yoruba or Igbo that Yoruba or Igbo should be their primary language and English secondary, they'd say you're local or a bush man. This is the view of the majority of Africans, which is why the difference in the intelligence levels of the average Africans and other peoples of the world is clear. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 6:20am On Sep 28, 2023 |
obainojazz:Yea, that coding that may look primitive to you was used to establish many towns and cities in Yorubaland. It was also used in molding thousands of past humans in Yorubaland using advanced genetics, mimetics, and a certain kind of Physics. |

larride:Is El Rufai the godfather or playing godfatherism in Kaduna politics just because his preferred candidate won the APC primaries? Uba Sani after his 8 years will equally has his own preferred candidate to succeed him. The real godfather is Tinubu in Lagos State. Tinubu even after leaving the stage as governor longtime ago decides the flag bearer of his party. He had three deputies and they were all disloyal to him. After his 8: years, he Chose BRF to succeed him. After Fashola, He chose Ambode to succeed Fashola, he sacked Ambode after 4 years and brought in Sanwo Olu. In 2019, El Rufai came to Lagos and gave a lecture on how to end godfatherism in Lagos State. Up till today that lecture has not yielded any fruit. Lagos State politics is controlled by Tinubu. Oshiomhole wanted to try it in Edo State but Edo people refused to make it work. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 7:14am On Sep 28, 2023 |
monerozi5590:Didn't Oshiomole installed Obaseki as Governor? ![]() No oo, EL rufai is not Uba Sani Godfather, na him Godmother him be. someone he handpick to take over that Afro Senator seat and then anoint him to take over his job 4yrs later. Nobody is talking about Lagos State here. Everybody knows and no one deny Tinubu is a Godfather, that others try and fail to be Tinubu 2.0 doesn't change the definition of who a Godfather is or even attempting to be one. As per your other post about rotation, Lagos has 3 senatorial district, Tinubu did 8yrs from Lagos West, Fashola that took over him was from Lagos Central, Ambode that took after Fashola was from Lagos East which means the Governorship ticket goes round the 3 senatorial district. Sanwo-Olu is from Lagos Central. Obaseki is simply playing Godfather in Edo PDP. Short n simple. No twisting and turning will change it. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by monerozi5590: 7:35am On Sep 28, 2023 |
larride:Did Ambode complete 8 years? Nope. Because Tinubu said no. Others zone has 8 years but Ambode had only 4. Your governors can't decide who succeed them but Tinubu, that's a real godfather right there. If Obaseki preferred candidate wins the primary and the gubernatorial election he becomes the governor with executive powers and he will have his own preferred candidate when the time comes. Same with Uba Sani. In Kaduna the people play a huge part in deciding votes. Bantex may his soul rest in peace lost his senatorial election same person El Rufai picked. APC lost all three senatorial seat in Kaduna to PDP. PDP won all. APC lost some local government to PDP the last time El Rufai conducted Local Government Election. Oshiomhole did his 8 years, his preferred candidate won and after 4 years wanted to sack him but he refused and left APC and won the election. |

While other countries were busy developing the vaccine, Africa were interested in pulling funds together to buy the vaccine. E get stage wey e go reach, they will separate the wheat from the chaff. larride:True. Execution is the difference between ideation and MVP. And execution costs resources, financial and otherwise. The thing is, some VCs themselves don't want to sign NDAs so what's stopping them from passing your pitch deck to a direct competitor? Especially in Nigeria where such non-compete laws are ineffective? So bootstrapping it is for safety. --- Erm, if you have a direct link to any of these VCs with fewer bureaucratic red tapes, I'd love to link the text generative AI team with them. They are post-revenue, but want to scale. Iyin seems to be focusing on a completely different portfolio. Kola too. |
