This is why as a small business you should define you KPIs to intending customers. for these kinds of transactions, I will demand Online Bank Transfer with Token or a direct payment via POS with your physical Card or Payment at the bank to prevent stories that touch!

It may not even be the client. Sometimes it's just the banking software that automatically does the reversal for some unknown reasons.

I've once bought fuel at an NNPC filling station, paid with their POS and a couple of days later my payment was reversed back to my account.

I didn't do anything to cause the reversal.
