Serie A: Oliseh advises Osimhen to quit Napoli over TikTok video

Former Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh has advised Victor Osimhen to leave Serie A champions Napoli.

Napoli mocked Osimhen in a TikTok video posted earlier this week after he missed a penalty in the 0-0 draw at Bologna.

The forward reacted by deleting all of Napoli’s pictures and videos from his social media handles, with his agent threatening to take legal action against the club.

The 24-year-old snubbed a number of his teammates on his arrival at the team hotel ahead of Napoli’s Serie A clash with Udinese on Wednesday.

Commenting on the issue, Oliseh wrote on his X handle:”Forever proud to be Nigerian; One must show personality, work hard & refuse to be intimidated. let Racists and ingrates talk! That’s why they are eternal losers who secretly wish they were created like you! Osimhen needs to leave Napoli as soon as yesterday!!.“

The forward has scored four goals in six league appearances for Rudi Garcia’s side this season.

I fear he should flop at the Prem. Would have said he should come....its either Saudi Arabia or Europe. So thats where choice comes in...I pray he should make a petty good one. May his choice favour him

It's not good to be stupidly greedy... A player you spent about 60 Million to acquire, grew in value and clearly peaked, you were holding out for over 150 Million. Stupid club!

Yes. A place like Bayern Munich or Dortmund would be great. To further build himself in another strong enough league. Then move on after 2 years to Real Madrid, Man City or PSG, depending on movements of Haaland and Mbappe.

It's very easy to flop in EPL, if playing for a top side and game time is limited.

He may likely not.
No one expected Osimhein to do this well in the serie A.
If not for our inferiority complex and racism,with his performance in serie A,Osimhein should be commanding a hefty transfer fee and massive salary in either top premiership clubs or Real Madrid.
Assuming Osimhein was a halland or that guy man utd bought,with his top scorer feat in serie A last season,clubs like that would have closed their eyes at a $200m transfer fee and weekly salary of at least $400k.
Don't forget he has overachieved in France and now serie A.
The way he attacks makes it also unlikely he would be a failure.At least he can guarantee a top premiership club a 25 goal season.
That is worth the money for any striker

Which sensible club will mock their super star player or any other player for either not scoring or doing well!
Oshiemen needs to leave that club as soon as the transfer window opens next year!
His services are needed in EPL or Spanish league!
Even Inter Milan will treat him better!
There is even vacancy at Real Madrid due to his height!
What sort of insensitivity is that from the club?
Last season,Mo Salah missed a pen against Bournemouth which could have given LFC a draw or even spur them to a win but yet the club and coach defended Salah against the ever critical British press!

My problem is that why are the black players at Napoli quiet about this issue?
They should speak up or they will one day become victims!

He was crowned the King. Osimhen is very much revered. Osimhen should just thread carefully. Napoli issued a statement dismissing what they did. Osimhen just move on and let it slide
