Though it’s a lot but I’ll try to paraphrase, Puff and Suge used to be “friendly” but their issues started over basically women and artists (At some point throughout this beef between say 93-96 Puff, Suge, 2Pac and Snoop all smashed mutual chicks) Suge wound up smashing Misa (who is one of Puff BM’s). Mary J Blige and Jodeci all consulted Suge at one point to look over their contracts when they where on Uptown/MCA when Puff was an A&R under Andre Harrell. That’s where the relationship between Jodeci and Death Row started which eventually led to Jodeci (mainly the leader Devante) getting blacklisted by Puff. 2Pac issues started first because cats in NY was getting extorted by Jimmy Henchman and crew and 2Pac wasn’t going for it. Henchman is related to somebody in that Fugees camp. So that’s how they got tied in to it. Also 2Pac had an issue with Q-Tip during Poetic Justice filming and The Source Awards. The Source Awards was a mistake as A Tribe Called Quest was accepting an award and 2Pac started performing while they where still giving their speech, that wasn’t 2pac's fault. The program director messed that up. 2Pac went off on Mobb Deep because Prodigy said something about 2Pac in an interview. Nas being affiliated with Mobb Deep at the time ran in to 2Pac and they almost got in to it at the awards. Later 2Pac and Nas would talk it out and squash it (after 2Pac got out). Nas and 2Pac where going to do some music together but 2Pac got killed. Then of course the Quad shooting in 94 was by Henchman people and Puff BIG and crew where all upstairs when it happened. They was getting extorted too so they couldn’t say anything but they knew what was about to happen. While 2Pac was locked up people was telling him about what was going on that led up to him getting shot at Quad and that’s why he came for BIG so hard because he looked out for BIG and he knew what was going on and didn’t say anything BUT BIG did try and tell 2Pac to watch who he hung out with (Haitian Jack was Jimmy friend at the time) . Suge put the battery in 2Pac back and basically used him as a pawn in his beef with Bad Boy. Then Suge friend, Jake got killed at a party by somebody in Bad Boy camp. Suge kidnapped somebody in Puff camp beat him down and allegedly made him drink urine trying to get address of Puff or his mom but that person didn’t fold. Then after 2Pac died, Suge went to jail and years later eventually lost control of Death Row all because he didn’t go to a court hearing. Then he got shot at an MTV party thrown by Kanye West in Miami in 2004 and from what I understand Jimmy Henchman had something to do with that and again in 2014 when Suge got shot in LA at a Chris Brown party.
But, in a nutshell, it was 2Pac that got himself killed with his stupidity as he had ABSOLUTELY no business putting hands on Orlando "Babylane" Anderson.
