There are already useless Sea and river ports around SE, Onitsha river port, onne port, akwa ibom ports etc.. Now some people are talking about "sea" port in aba even though there is no sea around the place.

Anyone who has sense will know that you guys are just clowning and you are still hell bent on migrating in mass to other people's land and be causing trouble there "instead" of staying in your underdeveloped region in peace and develop it.

If you think "importing or exporting of goods " is the only reason you mass migrate to others people land and you wish to stay in your region in peace. Then it makes sense to just connect a rail line to those ports that are close to you and import your goods in peace.

Any other idea is obviously clowning, that is ; you do not really wish to stay in your region but know that sooner or later the choice will not be yours to make because obviously others cannot just be developing their space while some group will just mass migrate there to destroy it in the name of "one Nigeria".

Our yifuba brothers have been hyperventilating since Dr. Alex Otti flag off Abia sea port.

So much bitterness in one tribe.

Purge yourselves of hate and progress.

Abia Sea port is as feasible as Tin Can Port.

Tin Can was dredged 50 nautical miles to access the sea while Abia needs to dredge only 25 nautical miles.

Again, SE is FAR MORE DEVELOPED than South West. Only those that don't travel argue about this.

Remove Lagos, SW will drag community chance with North East.

The PH-Enugu rail line is still up and running other.

The rail line connects Onne Port down to Enugu.

As you said, this is clout chasing.

Even if they complete this inland river port , how effective will it be year round knowing that river flows drastically reduce during the dry season.

What of security? You will see pirates along the river route hijacking vessels.

Then being very shallow waters, only low bearth vessels can navigate this water ways. Will they offload from ocean going container vessels onto smaller vessels or barges ?

A simple rail network will solve this issue.

As for your concluding statement on them not going back home ,you are dead spot on.

It's free money from the center .

They are a welfare case region and that's why they don't care when their useless governors spend federal allocations anyhow

They are also the number 1 opposers to restructuring. Even the north can stand on their own if the right leaders emerge from there other than the rent seekers they are plagued with.

You wonder where this "one Nigeria" that they talk about is when people complain about mass migration of Nigerians in Nigeria. Can someone be an immigrant in his own country?

Sea ports are rarely built on the coast line due to ocean currents, they are usually built on a water way close to the sea if deep enough. Where they are proposing to build a Sea port in Abia State is even closer to the Sea than Port Hardcourt and Lagos Seaports

What's eating you up about the south east matter? You say free money from the centre, what does your state contribute to the national treasure?
So you don't know the money sustaining this country is from south east and Rivers state too? You guys will just be hating as if to say the average Igbo man in the street give a dam about your ranting.
Igbos are just too big and beautiful race to be subdued or neglected. Keep making Igbos more famous by posting funny things about them.

Don't mind these hateful tribe. They're so insecure and full of wickedness. Alex Ottih decided to build a seaport in his state, just like any reasonable governor will do. But these primitive people have since been crying.

Below is the location of the seaport Ottih wants to build in Abia state. You can see it is closer to the Atlantic ocean than even PH port. The reason why their region have remained stagnated is because of their witchcraft and wickedness.
