Not really. Most elections in Africa are based on the popularity of the political parties, I think she contested on the platform of not well popular party.
Electorates are most times dumb people. No matter what you do for them prior to election date, if you don't belong to the political parties that majority of them belong to, they won't vote for you. I didn't need to explain all this to you
