I understand this may not be conventional to share, but I'm doing so to underscore my point. My apologies to @donsheddy for this. We all concur that @donsheddy has made significant progress. But do you believe this progress was solely achieved through trading free trials and demo accounts? No, he advanced through trading trials, demos, proprietary firm challenges, and personal accounts. I've lost count of how many proprietary challenges I arranged for him, and yes, he did lose some of them. Yet, he was accountable for those losses.

If I had given up on him back then, would he have the confidence to accept a $200k opportunity from someone who believed in him today? I'm quite sure he wouldn't have if he hadn't been preparing for it. Even as at today, all three prop accts he is trading one is from me, one from the fundednext prop giveaway and the third from someone that believed in him.

In my opinion, it's preferable to let 99 potential abusers go unpunished than to deny one honest and hardworking trader here the same privilege. Our focus should be on continuous improvement to minimize the strategies that abusers use to circumvent the rules and regulations.

We're humans and have emotions, it'll take a lot to master them or control them. Forex is a really great teacher. I broke rules today and took 2 premature trades when my trailing stop got hit.

First, trailing stop isn't part of my trading strategy, during my backtests and strategy build up, I never used trailing stops, I either hit TP or SL, or close trade when there's an opposite opportunity.

Today, I got pissed when I was kicked out of my buy position too early, so I anticipated 2 sell trades without confirmations, all because I was bitter that I was no longer part of the buyers. I made a journal on what prompt me to activate the trailing SL, we learn with every loss.

We should all strive to get better than our former self, the battle is us against us, not our fellow trader.
Most of us traders are too proud and won't take corrections when a fellow trader tries to bring us to order, so often it's best to let us learn from experience.

Here's hoping more folks here get to succeed in the fx space.
