I have depressing noise memories from where I grew up at Ijora, Badia.

On Fridays, I do come back home, from primary school, earlier than my siblings and parents.

Tired from playing and Friday sports, hungry since we're yet to have lunch, and having a 30-minutes wait before my parents come home.

We had this window in our sitting room, that faces a mosque's Ahuja speaker. That muezzin's call for prayer haunts me till this day. With hunger and being alone, that sound at that volume is like the next worst thing to me then, until my folks came back.

Glad we moved out. Fridays became more tolerable.

How do you enforce this Law without specifically stating maximum Decibels allowed, and maybe minimum distance of Church/Mosque/Club etc from residential areas.

The news is for both Muslim and Christian, the noise during night vigils is so annoying, the noise from the Muslims early morning call to prayer is also disturbing, as a nation we still have a long way to go. Those that brought this two religion to us live a better life.
