The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has announced and revealed the only reason that will stop them from agitating for Biafra.

According to the group, the only thing that can make them disband and stop their agitation is if the people vote against self-determination in a referendum.

Speaking through their spokesman, Emmanuel Powerful, the group insisted that the United Nations charter has given them the right to chart their own political future if their political and economic survival is threatened.

I don’t know where these people got the idea that they are entitled to a ‘referendum’.

You have more than 50 secessionist groups in the United States, including one called the Texas Nationalist Movement that seeks to secede with the oil-rich state of Texas.

And there’s ‘Yes California’, a group that wants to secede with the state of California.

I’ve never heard of any of those guys demanding referendum in the US. The US govt will not tolerate the idea for one second.

But in Nigeria you have IPOP terrorists claiming they have a right to hold a referendum.

Which right?
