One of the terrorists then holds up her head and spits on it, while another cuts the genitals off a still-living male soldier. Many, many Israelis had to be identified using DNA as they were burned or mutilated beyond recognition. This is one of the reasons that the death toll was updated so slowly. It took a long time to identity everyone, even after the bodies were found. This is simply beyond comprehension. It is straight out of a horror movie. You don't want to believe it's real... But it is all too real, and those who survived are bearing the scars of witnessing one of the worst atrocities in Jewish history. As I posted before, the older sister of my daughters best friend was one of the female lookouts in one of the bases that was attacked. She miraculously survived by hiding in a dark locked room for 9 hours. Nearly all of her friends were slaughtered in similar fashion to what I described above. And she witnessed the aftermath, and had to help treat those still clinging to life. She's back home now, but she will never be the same. At just 19 years of age, she has suffered a trauma that will shape her for the rest of her life. As have so many others. IT |

Fake news? Al Jazeera just published this clip claiming it is of Hamas today releasing a captive Israeli woman and her two children. The move was meant to gain a bit of sympathy for Hamas and increase calls for a ceasefire. But Israelis quickly identified the woman in the clip as Avital Aladjem, who was abducted on Saturday with her neighbor's two children from Kibbutz Holit, but miraculously managed to escape captivity. She has already told Israeli media, days ago, how the terrorists were marching her and the two young children, aged 4 and 5-months, to Gaza when they apparently grew frustrated at the slow pace. The 4-year-old had hurt his foot. As they talked, she simply turned and started walking back to Israeli territory. By a miracle, the terrorists either failed to notice or decided not to execute Avital and the children, as they had done so many others, and simply let them go. Remember that Al Jazeera is controlled by the Qatari regime, which is an ally of Hamas. IT
