Anambrarians are still using the Asaba airport instead of the Anambra airport. Stupid political considerations have rendered that airport inoperative. The airport is only serving politicians coming to Anambra for one function or the other. Private citizens coming to Anambra uses Asaba because of its proximity to both Onitsha and Awka......wasted fund!

Why taken panadol for another person's headache? The airport traffic is increasing on daily basis.

For your information, sometimes flights meant to land at Asaba may not be able (bad weather) and they will come to Umueri, Anambra airport to land due to its world class lighten system.
