Membership of United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) won't increase FOREX earnings of Nigeria or improve our economy. What Nigeria desperately needs now is an economic plan and not some international diplomatic tokenism.

Such a dumb reasoning. The election wasn't about human rights rating but about membership of UN human rights body. There are no stats to show that Malawi or Cote D'Ivoire has better human rights records than Nigeria. So stop focusing emotionally on inconsequential stuff.
