This is what Umahi should have done and not building alien airport with billions which no air transporter uses.

But this gesture should have been strictly for people who will invest the money in the state to build economy of the state.
Again, sign MOU with the state to train at least 5 persons and empower them too after 5 years. That's how to take people out of poverty.

This is the kind of empowerment we need.

By the way, Akwa Ibom State needs something like this. Their state cannot be that rich, yet the do a lot of menial jobs. Let's leave those menial jobs for the Northerners since they believe that education is haram.

You no well at all o. What happens to the millions - 500 Ebonyi people?

If they can be able to empower 500 youths annually, you will have 2 million youths empowered by the end of his 1st tenure, and 4 million youths by the end of his 8 years administration.

Don't forget that those empowered will one way or the other employ or engage others one day by the time they start expanding. It's a good initiative, if the selection can be done with transparency and merit without politics.

Let them also invest in commercial farming, especially rice farming that the state is known with. The state needs heavy human development, in order to cut down the volume of their youths trooping to Onitsha and Lagos to hawk bottle water, gala, sweet, biscuit, etc
