If they weren't, then the proof of a positive trend in the Economy should have been very clearly visible by now because all the tools are available... but na e go better still dey operate. Give these guys 6 months more and 1usd= 2000NGN+ Economics is a data driven environment these days and Balablu has no idea on how to use statistical studies to make data driven decisions... Vision101:You are right, it’s a sad reality. But what infrastructures do we have in place that encourages production? Is it electricity? Loans or what? Honestly, it will take a genius and an honest person to raise Nigeria from the dust, and most if not all of these current politicians are neither of both. |

Nigeria been a producing economy is the solution to all this dollars rising everyday and naira losing value...you can't be importing and be a consuming nation and you expect naira to have value and be strengthened against the dollars...dollars must keep on rising |

growing up as a kid, when i got to understand there was a currency called dollar, it was being exchanged at 250 naira/ 270 naira to a dollar by those aboki. I remember a relation once sent us 100 dollar and what we got in exchange for that was 25k. and we were all happy cos the money went round everybody in the house. with joy on our face. that was during PDP. here now look at APC, THINGS ARE NOW WORSE |

Treadway:Presently, things are a bit disappointing. Anyways, these are still early days I also sense Tinubu may be standing in his way. Note: At the time of my argument in July, I had no clue the foreign reserves were disgraceful low at around $4bn. This is less than a month of imports cover while it is recommeded for a country to have at least 3 months worth in their foreign reserves. The easiest option now is to approach the IMF. |
