Tinubu does not even care. He's just appointing his kinsmen any how.

When the whole of the South East voted for Peter Obi, you didnt see what was wrong with that, but, when they are not considered for appointment, something just suddenly got wrong. Abegii

what has that got to do with strategy?

how is that strategic?

Buhari appointed his Northerners from the far end of North-West to the Far end of North-East.

Tinubu clamored for Southern Presidency, the whole Governors of Southern origin had a meeting at Asaba which birthed the Asaba Declaration where we all agreed that Power must return to South.

The South was somewhat in unity on it.

Now Tinubu has become the president, but unfortunately the president for the South-West.

He is appointing mostly Yorubas, Southern Presidency indeed.

He should remember that Buhari was nepotic, but he opened his arm across the whole North.

But Tinubu doesn't want to open his arm across the whole South.

Quite unfortunate because this should be the turn of the South not just South-West.

Did SE vote for tinubu a Yoruba man? INGRATES, tribalist piss of sh!t ppl

So there was a meeting and yall still voted for Obi and Atiku or is this a joke? If I was advising president Tinubu, the only region that will get any meaningful appointments will be the NW and NE, the rest didn't give him anything and don't deserve any. Wait, did president Tinubu win NC? I can't remember.

The nonsense meeting was going to be used to tie candidate Tinubu's hand but you found out that he's not the one. Why didn't Peter Obi step down for Asiwaju or what was the point of the meeting? Your Akpu brain failed on Jagaban

"Power must return to the South" meant different thing to different candidate and it's not the same as "Emi lokan" so he's not bound by that and hasn't even done anything to the contrary, the power is still in the 'south' whatever that means and the comptroller is Yoruba.

You don't know how these appointments benefits the South West. They know what they are doing. Most South Westerners now have a good chance of securing government jobs more easily than they could during Buhari regime.

I blame Yoruba for the kind of expectations and demands these people put on president Tinubu. Yoruba show they care too much, so more is required from us by people who don't deserve it. I've been saying it for years that ignoring people is also a response that is more effective than anything and the only reason they are complaining now is because president Tinubu has given them more appointments than they deserve. The north should be the ones complaining I swear and I kinda don't like it that they are not getting more.

Peter Obi is a better candidate from the South. If you like hate it or like it. Tinubu know what he is doing . Its just like denying Yorouba appointments becuze they Voted Olu Falae. It doesnt make sense. Winner takes it all its more of a tradition in South West but trying to do it in National affairs will burn alot of bridge. This is as bad as anything for Yoruba tribe unless Tinubu will divide Nigeria after his tenure. The worst thing that can happen to Yorubas is SS and SE ganging up againt them. Even Peter Obi knows that he's not qualified and will never be a Nigerian president. You can see that with all the rigging, ethnic propaganda and lighting religious war, he got 2 million votes. If he didn't rig the elections, he wouldn't get up to 500k votes. It's only in Nigeria that an idiot like Peter Obi wants to be president after he ran Anambra to the ground and his people have to take refuge in the Lagos Tinubu built. Thank God Almighty we dodged the bullet, Nigerians would have be making Eba out of sand by now and you would have been here telling us how it's plentiful in everyone's front yard.

President Tinubu has been more than fair to even the people that campaigned against him. We voted for Jonathan and neglected Yoruba. United don't go by states to give appointments, Nigeria has this issue because it's built on a wrong foundation and people don't trust each other.

This is pure nepotism.

So you want IPOB and UGM to have unfettered access to the borders so they can bring in whatever munitions they can grab?

See, everybody is being careful and extremely hesitant to put a SE person in very sensitive positions because of antecedents. Emefiele quickly comes to mind. You can't really blame Tinubu. The dilemma of Ibos in Nigeria is the question of trust. Frankly speaking, nobody trusts the SE because the genesis of all the woes in this country started from them.

The attempts to introduce secession clause, which would have enabled any of the then 3 regions that made up Nigeria to quietly leave was thwarted by an Ibo man and celebrated by all of them.

The Midwest was carved out from the Western region by Zikist orchestrations so that Awolowo's political powers could be whittled down. As usual, the Eastern region cheered on this.

The regional system of governance was abolished by a representative of the East in accordance with Zikist ideology. There was absolutely no justification for doing that. Just a show of power. Nigeria is trapped in that cesspool till date.

The first attempt at secession originated from the East.

When the Civil War was going on, the Biafrans, egged on by their frontier successes against Northern soldiers and capture of parts of the SS region today, instead of maintaining their territorial integrity and holding fast to their positions, thus stamping their desire to leave, suddenly started advancing towards the core West, and Lagos through the Benin-Ore axis. Why? Was the Western region now supposed to be annexed? Was that not an opportunistic attempt to again start all over their quest for dominance in Nigeria and Africa as a whole? Who is going to trust people like that?

Which people behave so badly and try to scatter everything anytime their preferred candidate of whatever origin looses an election? If the SE had been quiet and well behaved throughout Buhari's torturous 8yrs without Nnamdi Kanu and his theatrics, it would have been far easier to really put some trust in that region. Look at what they are doing and saying against the SW and against the president today. Despite the fact that Yorubas voted massively for Obi, see how they were treated and insulted because Tinubu won. They quickly forgot whatever bridge and alliances they were able to muster and blew up everything. Who will trust people like that?

Nobody wants to put a square peg in a round hole anymore.
