This kind of avoidable accident once happened in my presence through this same model of Mack truck,Yoruba drivers used to call it "gbangbo", probably because of the front shape of the engine cap. The fully loaded truck was going to Lagos then the driver and the motor boys decided to have a nice time at an hotel very close to the highway,some minutes after packing the truck the truck just moved unexpectedly towards a crowded trailer park, fortunately there was no casualties despite being the night.The trailer park's building was grounded by the force of the truck. |
