Anike Agbaje-Williams Africa’s First Female TV Presenter Is 87 Today Golden Oldies is wishing Nigeria's pioneer newsreader Anike Agbaje-Williams a happy birthday today (Born: 23 October 1936, née Kuforiji). She was the first female television staff announcer and broadcaster in Nigeria and Africa's first woman broadcaster. Agbaje-Williams was a pioneer staff of WNTV, which was first television station in Nigeria. she was also the first female broadcaster of the station.
