Israel has decided to "postpone the ground war" in the Gaza Strip until US military reinforcements arrive in the area.

It’s obvious that If Hezbollah attacks there will be automatically an all-out war in the Middle East.

The New York Times has apologized for its skewed reporting that left readers convinced Israel had struck the al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza on October 17.

"The Times's initial accounts...relied too heavily on claims by Hamas," the paper said in an Editors' Note.

Of course, the Times tried to partially excuse itself by saying its headlines were constantly updated with new information.

But they know as well as anyone that first impressions are the most important, and with much of the public it's all you get. And the Times, the BBC and so many others botched the initial impression so badly that they helped spark an outpouring of Muslim rage and violence in streets across the Western World.

Let's hope they've learned their lesson. But I kind of doubt it.

Turkey is reportedly angry at Hamas for lying about the hospital strike in Gaza, and has asked Hamas leaders to leave the country.

This is not because Turkey's regime suddenly supports Israel, but because Hamas's false claim regarding the hospital sparked mass riots in Turkey (and elsewhere) that resulted in property damage and strained diplomatic relations.

The US and Israeli consulates in Istanbul were attacked as a result of the phony hospital claims.

That's a fake Arabic translation, as correctly mentioned by numerous arab channels : FIXED: “She’s not a prisoner, she’s too young” He says the exact opposite and wants to let her go because she’s too young.

The #fake_news was shared by David Goldman, deputy editor of Asia Times, fellow at the Claremont Institute DC center, former head of credit strategy at Credit Suisse.

So they didn't know she's "too young" before they kidnapped her? I believe 'rape' is the right translation as it's the stock in trade of Jihadists.

The Russian Ministry of Defense informed senior officials in Lebanon that if Hezbollah decides to start a war on the southern front, Israel will adopt a policy of "scorched earth" and destroy Lebanon, destruction that will not be limited to Hezbollah's areas of influence only.

Israel did not say this officially, it passed the message on to the Russians who will pass it on.

Russia has reportedly given permission to Iranian operated flights to use the Hmeimim Airbase in Western Syria to deliver weapons to Iranian Backed Militants.

This comes after Israel's repeated attacks on the Damascus & Aleppo Airports.
