President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the removal of fuel subsidy would pave the way for investments in alternative energy sources, infrastructure and public services. Tinubu said these investments would contribute to a stronger and prosperous Nigeria. Speaking at the grand finale of the ongoing three-day combined convocation of the 37th and 38th academic sessions of the University of Ilorin on Monday, Tinubu said the pains and inconveniences associated with removal of oil subsidy will be short-lived. Represented by the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, Tinubu said people should look out for its potential long-term benefits. He, however, admitted that Nigerians are enmeshed in economic pains as a result of the oil subsidy removal. “While the short-term gains are expected with attendant pains, please look forward to the potential long-term benefits. “The removal of subsidies can pave way for investments in alternative energy sources, infrastructure, and public services that will contribute to a stronger and prosperous Nigeria. “During this transition, let us remain united as a nation, supporting one another and working collectively towards finding solutions. “It’s a challenging journey but by embracing innovation, conserving energy, we can navigate through these difficulties and emerge stronger as a nation. ''Remember, change often comes with its share of hardships, but it is through resilience and cooperation that we can shape a better future for ourselves and generations to come,” Tinubu said. Uncle Bola is carefully buying time until Dangote refinery fires and the Naira strengthen as a result so he can claim it as result of his efforts even though we all know it isn't the case. It is 5 months since we removed it and four months since N1tr was saved after the first month. 1 Like 1 Share |

We Agbadorians are happy with the sufferings and hunger in the land. Just like pregnancy is painful for a time till delivery, we agbado people know the suffering in the land is just for a time before our lord and god, Tinubu turns Nigeria to Dubai. So people complaining about hardship in Nigeria are unpatriotic. Even if dollar becomes N10,000, we'll be happy. Tifffnubu till 2027. 😎 |

CodeTemplar:President Buhari will take the credit, why do you think he inaugurated before he left power, all though they all knew that it wasn’t completed? Even if it is next year the refinery becomes functional, President Buhari will still get the credit, President Bola Tinubu is not interested in any credit, let it just work. |

Unfortunately, this is the message we're going to be getting in the next four years. Buhari repeated same message for 8yrs. . |
