There's no doubt that Israel will still win if they lunch their ground operation over Gaza.
Note: Not because they're mighty but because they're strong militarily compared to the Hamas and Palestinians, and the backing and support Israel have is powerful compared to their foe.

The only determining factor here is that Israel is afraid, the fact that these guys planned an operation and even succeeded in the face of their over hyped intel agency is worrisome.
They're afraid of losing soldiers and the fear of the unknown that's just the truth.

They are likely to win but I wouldn't say their victory is certain, regardless of their military strength. In addition to facing Hamas and Islamic Jihad, Israel will have to deal with thousands of state-sponsored foreign fighters and that's a big problem for any military. In fact, I believe that they'd just do major damage to Hamas before fleeing in frustration. I do not see them achieving their objective.
