Hell was let loose in one of Guaranty Trust Bank branch at Oke Ilewo, Abeokuta on Tuesday 24, October 2023 when an angry customer poured petrol on himself with the determination to set the bank building and other customers ablaze. It was gathered that the customer who was in the bank a day before the incident to complain about the disappearance of Five Hundred and Thirty thousand naira(₦530,000) from his account without him initiating the transaction was asked to come back the next day. Upon his arrival to the bank on the next day, sources at the bank premises revealed that the young man was attended to by a customer complain desk and was told that the bank cannot trace how his money disappeared at the immediate. The angry customer was said to have raised his voice in the banking hall, demanding refund of his money to his account. It was gathered that the bank manager came out and ordered the security to throw the man out of the bank premises. Our sources added that while many thought the man has left, he returned few minutes later with a 5litres keg of petrol and walked straight into the banking hall where he poured the content on himself with the determination to spark the matches and set everywhere on fire. Impeccable sources added that bank staffs, and other customers scamper for safety leaving only the angry customer in the banking hall. it was gathered that after several plea from those who can identify the angry customer , he agreed not to spark the matches but demanded a promise from the bank manager to initiate the process to get the money back to his account immediately or he set himself and the bank building ablaze. Effort to get reaction of the Miriam Olusanya led GTCO or its public relations agency proved abortive as at writing this report. https://thepagenewsng.com/?p=4748

The hardship in Nigeria is real. Person go come loose this kin money on top the hardship. Folks should keen to keep their banking details private. Your ATM card and the pin should not be exposed to a second party and be mindful of where and how you use it. Many hard earned monies has been siphoned by fraudulent individuals sue to carelessness of the account owners and again some bank staffs are complicit roo. Always demand to know your account officers and seal directly with them in any given bank. That way he/she gotts to monitor your account too. |

t33why:There is a reasonable amount of genuine nuisance one can constitute that can warrant a manager to ask him or her to leave or be forcefully removed if necessary. Customer service laws are not supposed to be to the disadvantage to either party. |
