Has anyone tried this before and what was the outcome?

I have palm oil but I just want to add a twist to my beans cos it's been long I made beans and I dont want to cook it the usual way. So, has anyone tried it before?

No I didn't when no body answered me, I just used the Palm oil before I waste food for this economy.

I'll experiment with a smaller quantity next time.

Ngwa no vex but I doubt it would've made much difference in terms of taste.
Palm oil is always the best choice for beans.

I've read that butter gives a nice flavour to rice, so maybe you can try it out with rice.

I cook for events so I know the importance and place of butter in rice. Was just thinking I could get something similar with beans.

Yes it gives it a great taste..

Of course you can use it to fry your vegetables. But watch closely and stir continiously because it burns easily. You know it's fat not oil
