We need to start taking out chances. We could have lost 2 valuable points today. I've seen enough to convince me Raya ain't better than Ramsdale but make we siddon dey look. Moving Martinelli to the RW was a tactical masterclass from Arteta. That helped in keeping Diaz quiet. |

I don’t like how we are struggling to put teams away. Easily could have drawn this game. I will take the 3 points. #COYG |

BlueRayDick:Yeah... He did. He actually pointed at the zone where he wanted Saka to play it. That's why it's really very important to have high IQ players. Just those two singular decision perfected by both of them actually earned us that draw. |

Arteta has been enough in management to start planning on Jesus and Nelli switching natural spots as often as possible during attack transition. Best Goals of Nelli surprisingly come from the centre runs, and some of the sweetest by Jesus has been from the wing. Besides, Jesus is a quick decision maker when he's in that wing compared to Nelli. There is more assurance in a fan's chest that Nelli will waste or kill an attack vibe than get a goal. Besides, many managers now put 2 on Saka and Nelli lately. I expect Arteta to quickly do something about this or we may see Saka going on a permanent goal drought against big teams. Assists is bare minimum to me by Saka Standards. He also needs a deputy. Loved how he gave experienced Acuna big problems. It's also time we start firing from 20-30yards out abeg. One thing i hate in football is predictability. Esp when you know you've been figured out yet rinse and repeat. This season,no shot/on target for more than an hour is worrisome. I trust a Granit Xhaka in such games. As for Raya, i feel he's enjoying Spanish Privileges at this rate. He's nowhere near Ramsdale. Those bicycle kicks Mariano kept seeing, i trust Rams to have done something more than simply watch, which brings me to White White is shaky!!! Saliba can't continue to cover for him. He is sluggish at recovery to defend and that's too consistent and it is annoying. Man marking is a problem too. Aerial awareness seems like zero. He is a gem in attack. But it looks like he wants to prove that Zinch is learning work near him. He needs to step up. Las las, our Away Streak continues. |

“I all the time go to the defenders – Gabi, Saliba, Ben, Zinchenko, in today’s case Tomiyasu, even the keeper – and I say: ‘Listen, when you put the ball away, always look at me. If you cannot look because it’s quick, put (it) in the middle, I’ll be there.’ I think I controlled good, then I saw both (defenders) jump on me, and I turned, and obviously I just need to give Gabi because he’s so fast and so good and he finished the action so well and opened the result for us.” -Gabriel Jesus My Comrade ![]() |

daveP:White is a CB being forced to play RB/RWB. His weakness will always be visaible, I guess the coach knows this and that’s why Saliba has to cover for him . I want to beleive when Timber is back we will have more options and things will change for the better |

daveP:Both Raya and White are tactical choices. You can't remove them from the line up unless we sign better tactical players. |

Saw a report that Real M want to bid for G. Jesus @ 45M pounds. Even real cannot be that deluded. We but him for 45 and sell him the same. Even with 105M it will be with begging. Arteta should invest in the young academy players by giving them a chance |

Aaron Ramsdale to be affected by Premier League rule as Arsenal will be without David Raya So, Arsenal's 2-2 draw against Chelsea was not a turning point for Aaron Ramsdale as Mikel Arteta resisted calls to reinstate take David Raya out of the firing line for the Champions League clash with Sevilla. The Spaniard, who was the Gunners' fourth and final signing of the summer transfer window having joined on a season-long loan from Brentford, has effectively become the first-choice goalkeeper since making his debut against Everton after the September international break. Despite keeping clean sheets against the Toffees, PSV Eindhoven, Bournemouth and Manchester City, there have been a few shaky moments on his behalf. Some have been costly, the RC Lens equaliser is one example that immediately springs to mind, while he was rather fortunate on a couple of occasions in the 1-0 win over the Premier League champions. This, coupled with events at Stamford Bridge last weekend, has led to a clamor for Ramsdale to reclaim his place. After all, Arteta has said the battle for the right to be Arsenal's number one is a meritocracy and therefore it's understandable as to why such a debate is still ongoing. Against Chelsea, the travelling support inside the ground made their thoughts on the matter clear by chanting Ramsdale's name immediately after Raya, under no pressure, played the ball straight out to Cole Palmer but managed to recover in time to avoid his error being punished. The response was something that Arteta was asked about in the post-match press conference, but rather than being drawn on any comparisons to Raya, he instead chose to focus on the fact that Ramsdale had just become a father - hence his absence from the matchday squad. "Great. I love him and I will sing as well for him every single day," the Gunners boss told reporters. "We sang a lot for him yesterday because he became a father - the most beautiful thing. He's someone that has this charisma and personality and he’s very loved around the team." Admittedly, even with Ramsdale making the trip to Seville, a recall was always unlikely. Firstly because the stakes were relatively high in terms of Arsenal keeping their fate in their own hands with regard to qualifying for the knockout stages and it was the type of game that suited Raya as he is aggressive at coming for crosses. Ultimately it wasn't a surprise to see the Spaniard in the starting line-up against Sevilla, although his performance will split fans' opinions as football.londonawarded him a 6/10 rating with our Chief Arsenal Writer Kaya Kaynak explaining 'We saw the good and the bad of David Raya tonight'. Having said that, he didn't do anything to warrant being dropped for Saturday's Premier League clash at home to Sheffield United, which means, fitness permitting, it will be another game watching from the sidelines for Ramsdale and that might sting a bit given it's his former club. However, he will get his chances soon. The Carabao Cup tie against West Ham United is next week. Furthermore, as per Premier League loan rules that prevent a player from featuring against his parent club, he is assured, provided he's available for selection, to be in goal against Brentford on November 25 as Raya will be ineligible - which wasn't the case when the two sides met in the cup last month. This potentially creates a fascinating scenario especially if Ramsdale has only made one appearance heading into the London derby as he is all but guaranteed to get the opportunity to show Arteta that he should return to the starting line-up for the Premier League and Champions League fixtures that follow.
