Whose fault is it that Justice Centus Nweze died in July 2023?

If u had read well without this ingrained hatred,u will know that the former justice who died in 2021 has also not been replaced all because they are from the south east.

Common sense is far from u people.

I know you especially.

Imagine the current CJN replaced the one that died in 2021 or Justice Nweze that died in July?

Just Imagine the propaganda you would have regaled us with about Tinubu and his Yoruba CJN choosing an Igbo Justice that will do their bidding.

Guess what, Tinubu still won the case.

And those Justices would now be replaced without all the propaganda you and your fellow anarchists would have regaled us with.
Your one major fault is too much baseless talks. You talk too much

All Supreme Court Justices who have either died or retired across all the different geopolitical zones have not been replaced also, since the last appointments were made in 2020.

Are they all Igbos?

They all have not been replaced because the yoruba CJN whose duty is to ensure the equitable replacement of the deceased/retired jurists refused to do his job because his own regional slots wasn't affected... It is the sole duty of the CJN to replace them, and since he neglected those slots, what it simply means is exactly what the Retired Justice Musa Dattijo called it..

Foolish sensational headlines.

I don't know why losers keep grasping at straws with sensational headlines, that has nothing to do with the content.

How does stating that the office of a CJN has powers he considers should be subdued, become an abuse of power when the function is legitimate and the extant law?

All the Justices including the CJN himself were at this farewell dinner.

Do you not have d capacity to read and understand?
Read what he said again. This is a heavy allegation. CJN is deliberately refusing to replace certain regions even after 2 years plus of vacancy.

“Appropriate steps could have been taken since to fill outstanding vacancies in the apex court. Why have these steps not been timeously taken?

“It is evident that the decision not to fill the vacancies in the court is deliberate. It is all about the absolute powers vested in the office of the CJN and the responsible exercise of same,” the retiring jurist added.

I have no issues with that.

The last set of appointments to the Supreme Court was in 2020. Since then, many have retired while some have died.

They are not all Igbos who retired or died. It happened across multiple regions.

So there is obviously a shortage and a need to fill up the slots, so it has nothing to do with persecution of Igbos.

What about those from the NorthEast and NorthCentral that have retired since 2020?

Are they all Igbos?

So you think that leaving vacate slots at the Supreme Court un-filled is not abused?

Even the zones represented, only about two and they are in the North that have the full 3 slots occupied, why do you think it is so?

If the power is not abused all the geopolitical zones will have their allocated slot of three justices filled.

We in South East are used to it

There was a time South East had zero AIG of police.... They had to promote a CP to DIG because South East must have DIG by law

Frank Mba is DIG while his mates are CP lol u know why ? Lmao

Same people that produce most graduates yearly when it comes to government agencies fail to be promoted

South East is also the only region that has not been geographically surveyed..... No body knows the resources in South East

Crude and gas gush out of the ground in Enugu n Ebonyi they are ignored while billions is spent looking for oil in the North

It's in the country that for years Anambra oil was drilled and the 13% given to Delta for years till it was exposed

In an attempt to hold the Igbo nation down Nigeria has also held herself even more down

His promotion mates are ACP/DCP.
As at 2014/2015, he was a Suprintendent of Police ( a coat of arms) and that should be a GL 11, but now as DIG is on GL.16

Datijo has been a long time part of the rotten system and his brother BUHARI brought the wholes on the judiciary through his politicking processes. So blaming Ariwoola who just spent nearly a year in office is absurd while his past fellows have been inactively there for so long. Now must TINUBU be crucified increasing the budgetary of the judiciary with almost 100% increment. I think Datijo seemed pained for not having an opportunity to become a CJN and that is the case of this wailing.

If the power to appoint Supreme Court justices solely rest on the CJN then it is in actuality an abuse of power for such appointments not to be made for whatever reasons it may be but I doubt if CJN is solely responsible in making such decision.
By the way, this should not look like an attack on Justice Ariwoola but an attack on the past CJN same way.
