On Ukraine taking back it's land, it is presently doing so, it's counter offensive hasn't stopped, Russia's counter offensive is over and they are unable to partake in any large scale offensive. Russian empire might just collapse same way USSR did.

Russia has stopped the flow of gas to the West, it affected Western economy when it has stabilized, whole Russia has lost the European market and possibly forever, before the war they controlled around 30% of the World gas supply but now around 10% and is likely to even reduce further. Russia is trying to increase its gas supply to China, but they are not interested. there's no alternate market to the West, even China has realized this. Their is no sanction on the US/West, if there is any, share proof.

Russia's economy is at stake for this war, but the US/West economy are not, the sanctions affected both sides but Russia is the biggest loser.
