Seeing Yasu score is a thriller. They finally grant my wish. The least we should be getting from this kine match na 4. Trossard kon cause wahala despite being marked by 2. Nelli can't once 2 gum body. Experience! I wish Saka Scored sha but our Wednesday game is very very important. Good to see Club Owner get 10mins at least. Elneny Baller.

Everyone dey pity Kai. He really did well this 2nd half. That Yasu Goal, na Elneny set am up.

Now this GD, let's consolidate on it.

Beautiful game! Sweet win. Allow ESR and Nelson see game abeg. Who else noticed how ESR was so sharp in the middle of the box today?

Tottenham has not played Chelsea , city and United all of whom Arsenal has gotten 7 points out of possible 9.

Issokay !
This one even far...their squad depth might be their biggest problem.

They should enjoy the moment while it lasts.

That Tomiyasu's goal actually got me emotional. Come see the way I shouted when he scored. And then when VAR had to step in, I'm sure my neighbors could hear me shout 'God Abeg' continuously. grin grin

I'm so happy for him.

Kai in Odegaard role is a no no. Creativity and Flair was majorly on ESR and Rice all thru. He remains that one player still under experiment 🥼
Once again, i love what Trossard did to the LW today. Impressive!!

Oluwatomi My Guy. So happy for his first goal. That's just one of my favourites from day one he joined this club.

This excuse no fit hold. Why? When they aren't working, then something needs to be done about that weakness. That's why? Nobody, because of tactics or whatever its called is so assured of not being on the reconsideration table when mess up begins to affect overall performance.

So, judging by your last words, we are stuck till better come? Omo!!
The bolded is not really my point. It is simply about how selection is made on march day and why.

For example, some players are selected for their physicality eg Saliba, Gabriel, Rice. Some for their technique eg Zinchenko, Saka, Martinelli, Odegaard. While some for their tactical prowess eg White, Havertz, Raya.

Some fall in-between like Partey or possess multiple attributes like Rice etc.

In most cases the coach can afford not to play physical or technical players but it will be very hard for them to ignore the tactical players because they are the brain of the team and they determine how the team plays, how others move and what tactics the manager wants..

Yesterday was truly a lot of "Firsts" for Arsenal

1. First time Arteta tried depth/squad players without through enforced injuries

2. The first time Started a match as arsenal's captain

3. Nketiah scored his first EPL hat trick.

4. Tomiyasu scored his first arsenal goal

5. Addendum; Fabio Viera scored his first goal this season grin

They should just frame yesterday's date grin

You won't appreciate Kai because you don't want to. Kai played very well yesterday.

His style is what sells him away for untrained minds like ours. Kai plays off the ball that is why everyone around him plays better. But we see it as he did not play well just because others played better than before.

Kai is always off the ball in your analysis.
When will he start scoring from open play.
We need goals in this team

I think what you're referring to here is skillset of each players. I said something similar here last weekend.

I'm just happy we now have different 'types' of players with different skillsets.

Before Charlie Patino moved to Swansea, Mikel Arteta had a discussion with Patino and he promised that if he could shine at Swansea, Patino would be considered for the opportunity to perform in the Arsenal first team after his return.

This was also the discussion that made Patino completely change his mind about leaving Arsenal to find an opportunity to play football in the first team, and accept to leave on loan to gain experience.

Charlie Patino expressed his satisfaction with the development plan that Mikel Arteta proposed for him and Patino is willing to do his best to prove to Mikel Arteta that he is capable of competing in the Arsenal first team.

Arsenal also hopes that Charlie Patino will get closer to the level of the first team after he completes his loan at Swansea this season.

With Jorginho, Mo Elneny or Thomas Partey all likely to leave Arsenal after this season, Charlie Patino can completely believe in a chance in the Arsenal first team if he performs well in a Swansea shirt.

Your thoughts...

Role. Role. He was playing the Odegaard role. Im rating him by that. All these off ball excuses seems to be cooked for only him and it's getting stale. Very well is exaggeration. He's not the only off ball player in existence. But those in such category also impact on the ball too.

No wonder he's been benched since Everton match and only started when Arteta wanted to try squad depth.

I guess our coach too get untrained mind like ours cheesy

It was a magical feeling when I saw him in the tunnel with the arm band and leading the team out of the tunnel into the field.

He looked confident and like he had been waiting for this day like I have.

Lol, check all ratings of arsenal players against Sheffield, most gave all arsenal players above 7.0. The least is Havertz and some were giving 5.0, while some 6.0.
But Spy will tell us he makes all arsenal players better. grin

Na Pepe I pity. If to say Spy na him lawyer, Maybe him for still dey arsenal till now grin

In a big club nothing like bench when you still see game time. Imagine saying Trossard is benched. Benched here should mean no game time.

ESR was subbed before we reached five. That's not saying he didn't do well. Honestly I prefer ESR in that Left no 8.
