I wanted to buy a Gotv decoder today from a shop and I discovered that a new Gotv decoder is now 15k. I was shocked.

I asked about Startimes and was told that Startimes decoder is about 10k.

I want to make a decision about which of them to buy but I need to make an informed decision.

So for those who knows about both of them, which one is better in terms of pricing for subscription, channels availability, reliability of network and picture clarity?

Your preference would determine your choice, Startimes is very economical but Gotv is like a mini DSTV with premium content

15k for gotv now? This one shock me oh.. Go tv that was sold 8k, even 7k last year has now gone to 15k. You for ask the seller how many months sub wil come with it and the package. If it's like two months sub, then. It's OK for that 15.

If you fancy Multichoice premium packages like Big brother naija, go fo GOTV.

Also, if you fancy football, go for GOTV because with the new included subscriptions Super, and SuperPlus, you can watch many football matches.

If you live in the south east, go for CTL or Metro

They have better reasonable channels than Multichoice

Star Times is better than Gotv in terms of channel but doesn't get enough reception it deserves

I actually don't want a dstv for now.

Dstv never fail to do their December promo, I've used goth before that's why I'm advising you against it.
