Yes, I expected Anambra indigenes to have revolted against Giringori Obituary for looting the state for 8 years and running to hide in Lagos. President Tinubu lost Lagos and Ọṣun states in the last elections.

Oyo State currently has a PDP Governor and other states have had PDP or Labour governors in the past when AC was the defacto Yoruba party.

Also, opposition parties are still relatively strong in Yoruba states. If you look at Presidential or Gubernatorial election results, APC never gét up to 60%.

Obasanjo never did well in Yoruba states and had to resort to heavy rigging to win.
