My car steering is very stiff. It's a 2007 Toyota Avensis. The steering fluid is full. I got someone to scan it but he said it's not allowing him to scan it.

It's tough driving because I have to put so much effort to turn the wheels. Any suggestions and possible solutions?

Steering pump is gone. Scrap it and replace it. I'm very sure it will be making one loud moaning noise.

Replace steering fliud

Same with me own car, after scanning it showing steering angle is bad I don't know if that is connected to stiff steering.

check and top the automatic transmission fluid, if the situation persist change it fast before if affects the rack.

You are correct. It's making one kind noise but not that loud.

Get a new and original pump cuz most fairly used or Tokunbo, are those that have spoilt before but was repaired to sell.

Do you know anyone who sells the original one? I'll just buy it and hand it over to my mechanic because he's likely not to buy brand new if I give him the money and there is no way I can tell.

Op you have change steering pump and check if the steering rack wasn’t affected too.

You can get price options on Jiji, most of them selling on Jiji are at Ladipo. Just always insist on original parts and bargain for best price to get a good deal
