The South African Transport Minister, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga should have travelled by Helicopter or Aircraft or apply for extra body guards to secure her own safety.

The Crime rate in South Africa is one of the highest in the world.

It is the fall out of the long years of Apartheid in South Africa and the social-economic deprivation that comes with apartheid such as lack of education, jobs etc

During the time of Apartheid in South Africa, many blacks could not go to school to get a degree.

After they have grown to matured men they become a social misfit in the new freed south africa.

Consequently, the blacks in south africa had to take their anger against foreigners living in their South Africa.

That is why Xenophobia is very common in South Africa.

Nigerians were among the first victims of Xenophobia in South Africa.

I wish the Transport Minister a quick recovery from the trauma she had to go through.

The major difference between South Africa and Nigeria is that in a very short time you will hear that the culprits have been apprehended but if it were in Nigeria the police will go there and arrest any young man 50km radius of the crime scene all the while knowing that the true criminals have long left and still the criminals will never be caught.
