At least half of the state governors in Nigeria govern their states from outside... They are either in Lagos, Abuja or outside the shores of the country.

I honestly doubt any Northern State Governor lives in his state presently...! Those guys govern from expensive estates in Abuja.

He can't even walk the streets of Owerri let alone Orlu, Okigwe or Mbaise.

Every other previous governors interacted with civil servants, traders, students etc on several occasions but not Uzodinma.

That Dauda Lawal own is a blatant lie.Except for official functions and private invites to engagements, he is fully on ground in the state.

The reason why aspiring politicians and current governors kick against true federalism is because it gives the governors control over the resources in their own states which requires them to work hard to generate IGR for the state and also makes them accountable!
The current unitary system makes governors needy, lazy and irresponsible!
Once they pay salaries of civil servants and indulge in one or two humongous projects,they use their media team to make noise about it while flexing the remaining funds at abuja!
