We lack physicality up front. The suitable tactics is to be fluid and drag their defence. All this drifting and passing with rigidity no go work.

Saliba---Always making me proud. The timing of that tackle was perfect.

Halftime

Arsenal 1-0 Sevilla

That Jorg pass is exactly what Teta advises against vs the Newcastle game. What's hilarious is him reacting on the touchline asif that's his idea. Mtcheww😂😂😂😂😂😂

That is what i want to see. Saka running in behind. Not these unproductive takeons against 3 shirts and backpasses. Goal is something Auba and Laca did seasons back.

Na Injury go be the undoing of this team at this rate. Sad to see Jesus in the stands.

Omo Ologo is on BurnOut Mode but these Sevilla defenders think na World cup Saka dem dey place against 😆😆😆😆 Even White is simply behind cos Kai is there. Beautiful game from Nelli so far. These Sevilla guys came for draw. They seem uninterested kinda

Be like that Sevilla player collect Martinelli's GF grin grin

Saliba is not only good because he is defensively a beast but also due to the fact that the way he plays clearly exceeds his age. That tackle mehn.... He didn't rush ... he balanced himself.... increase his gear and did a clean tackle. Very impressive.

BTW, e don tey wey Gabriel Maghalhes collect yellow card... grin grin grin be like baba don renew subscription for him

They are going hard on Saka but like you said in your first post, he is making the cuts and runs behind the defense instead of just standing. Martinelli has impressed, I just need his final balls to be more precise. We need a W so we don't go into the final day needing a result, especially when u consider how thin our squad is right now.

Martinelli, you can not do all the hard work today and mess it up with your final delivery.

MSGAMBLE9:
Zinny can even play AM, we created a lot when he shadow Odegaard position during the latter stages of Shieldfield match ( look at the pass he gave to Kai even when surrounded by 4 opposition players), Villa away and vs Everton last season at Emirate etc.... Am sure he will do more than languid Kai.
Look at his performance so far in this 2nd half game against Sevilla, I really need us to try him in that CM role, he will definitely cook.

I just love how Saka has been overworked the last 3 seasons by Arsenal since he's been a teenager. How they've been playing him even when unfit for the past few games. Let's see how his body will be by the time he's 26.

He had a good game. Seeing something different is such a relief. Sadly, he joins the injury list. January window go hot.

The way Rice casually snatches ball away from the opponent needs to be studied. To think he usually does that without fouling the player.

He collected one ball from Mariano yesterday, I shock. grin grin

Wetin I just dey thank God he say na Jorginho last season be this.
I'm actually sad about this Partey injury and potential exit but then I have to admit his time is done here(sad to say)

I'm looking forward for our next DM but presently I'm not even optimistic. I mean, if we all know we needed Xhaka replacement and Arteta went to buy Havertz of all AMs in the world, then only God knows the kinda DM he'll buy this time embarassed

We need to Maximize this Rice's ability. I just hope we don't waste his prime here(he, Saka and Saliba especially) the way we did Sanchez and Cazorla during the prime

We should get timber clone so that we can confuse those useless epl refs

I'm so glad about our performance and win. I couldn't even comment on that our Newcastle match because omorr that match pain me gaan... But I digress a bit.

Talking about Trossard, Honestly, heaven knows I prefer him to Nketiah in that number 9 role. There's this kinda understanding he has with our wingers that makes us fashion chances and makes our frontline to be fluid.
Moreover, he always seems to impress me in that CF position since his arrival (bar the Fulham match this season).

I don't like the dearth of goalscoring amongst our Midfielders. Last season Odegaard and Xhaka were instrumental in popping in goals whenever our frontline might be caged. Even Partey as a DM popped in 3 goals in the league. At least, there was always hope that a goal might come out if our attackers are caged. Now, it's as if there's no hope. Rice is trying in terms of goalscoring at least, Havertz needs to improve on his goalscoring abilities. I don't even know if I'm asking for too much.

Our back 4 seems solid now especially defensively. Saliba too much sha. It's just unfortunate his outstanding performance against Newcastle was met with a loss but then defensively he's our Rock and he makes that defence line tick.

Also, Now that Zinny is now in the bench, I just hope Arteta gets to utilize his creativity more. He's too good to be on the bench esp with the people his up against in midfield.

Overall, a good win. Hopefully we win against Psv and solidify our passage to the next round.

Ohh... Thanks for the correction.

When did they switch the formats sef because I know in European competitions the first match will always be the 5th match in the return leg while the 2nd match is always the last match.
