This is besides the 5 Billion Naira we recently made available to our State University, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu University recently,” Governor Obi said.

On the ongoing recruitment of 7,000 civil servants in the State, Gov. Obi said his Government had the money to pay them for two years, which is about 5 Billion Naira, secured in the Bank in order not to encumber the incoming Governor. He also said that the recruitment had been structured in such a way to give all the towns in the state a sense of belonging by making sure that at least 10 persons each come from all the towns in the State.
