BREAKING NEWS: Election Suspended In Key Kogi State Areas Due To Malpractices

November 11, 2023

In a recent press release from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), shocking incidents of electoral malpractices have been reported in Kogi State. The malpractices, notably the completion of result sheets before voting, have marred the integrity of the electoral process.

Reports point to widespread irregularities in Adavi, Ajaokuta, Ogori/Magongo, Okehi, and Okene Local Government Areas. The most severe infractions occurred in Ogori/Magongo, impacting nine out of ten Registration Areas.

The Commission is diligently following the audit trail of personnel and materials, aiming to identify those complicit in undermining the electoral process. All officials at various levels, from supervisors to polling unit staff, will face appropriate sanctions where necessary.

Despite these challenges, INEC assures voters in Kogi State that their votes remain protected, and their democratic rights will be upheld. Mohammed Kudu Haruna, National Commissioner & Member of the Information and Voter Education Committee, delivered this message on Saturday, November 11, 2023. So with all the cash Dino Melaye has and the cars which he would've converted to cash and persuade or coerce Kogi people to vote for him, his PDP result votes is utterly abysmal compared to SDP and APC.

Analysing the result sheets, SDP votes were much but in the latter votes, I can observe that APC has overtaken SDP.

My candid submission, I can objectively deduce that APC is winning this governorship election.

Anyway, Kogi state is one of the poorest states in Nigeria with nothing to show for many decades.

If you pass through Lokoja the capital, it's only fast food joints for travellers that's booming there...Any other thing is capital ZERO.

kogi state issues is matter of tribal palava, igalas has being ruling since inception of kogi state, Yahaya came in through devine means, Cos Audu the real contender died on the day of the election, if not no tribe will taste that seat exempt igalas cus of their population, the next governor should have come from the kogi west the Yorubas, but the selfish of Igalas and Ebiras don't allowed this, the election is based on tribal issues they re not looking at performance or not
