U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Monday reportedly fired controversial Interior Minister Suella Braverman, as he begins a reshuffle of his top cabinet.

Braverman drew widespread criticism last week after printing an op-ed in The Times newspaper that ignored guidance from Downing Street and accused London police of political bias in policing protests.


The home secretary has long been a contentious figure. She resigned from the same job under Sunak's predecessor Liz Truss due to a serious breach of the ministerial code.

The right to protest against government policy is one of the basic features of democracy. Telling the police to go hard on peaceful pro-Palestinian protesters in London is undemocratic.
Defending the Israeli government doesn't mean you should preach hate speech against the Palestinian people & trample on their fundamental human rights.

UK is becoming too liberal a society. The same nation reputed for orchestrating political moves that strengthen their national influence
in the past is becoming a proliferated society where national interest is beclouded by liberalism. Even their European neighbours against whom they have won some smart diplomatic games in the previous centuries are taking advantage of them in many sphere of economy and politics. Imagine UK electricity being supplied by France company EDF. Isn't this a weakness. Some other sector of relevance in national security e.g Heathro airport are under the control of foreign individual. Little wonder they have never hosted a world cup in modern time, where there European rival have had it twice. Even Spain who hosted in 1982 has been tactically rewarded with 2034 while the one they expressed interest has gone back to the middle East in Saudi Arabia
