You can do it so that you can earn while you learn on your own. But before you copy trade anyone, please check the history and pattern of the person.

Well copy trading has its advantages, like learning from others' experiences, but it also means relying on someone else's decision-making. Newbies should weigh the pros and cons carefully. I've actually seen that someone made more profits with copy trading, Clearly, because they picked a skilled trader to copy.
But yeah. maybe start with a small investment to test the waters if you're really curious.

It can be profitable, but you should conduct your own research (DYOR) on the trader you want to copy. Check their strategy, and you can expect a solid return maybe not so huge. I've been using copy trading for a few months now. It takes away the stress and time commitment of trading, making investing accessible for me. Besides that, I love how I can follow expert traders, mimic their moves, and see my portfolio grow without actively managing it.

And as for your post, personally, I'd recommend copytrading for newbies in crypto. It's a great way to learn from experienced traders without diving deep into technical analysis. However, it's always important to DYOR before taking any steps in the crypto world.

That's right. You know, for newbies venturing into trading for the first time, most of them would not have the patience to learn first before wanting to see some gains so, copytrading helps them earn while earning at the same time although profits are not always guarantee hence the importance of researching the pattern and strategies of the trader you're copying.

Agree mate. Copy trading might not really teach you how to trade, I think it's most convenient for people with little or no time to constantly monitor their trade or those who want to earn while they learn how to trade.

Once there was an AMA session on Twitter and people had the opportunity to ask questions most people agreed that it doesn't teach how to trade, but it's really handy for those who wanna save time. One is coming up soon, and whoever is interested in knowing more about copy trading can participate to learn more.

Even if you are going to rely on copytrading it is still a good idea for you to understand the rudiments of trading yourself

Performance & track record: Can you show verified results (screenshots from the broker or third-party tracker) for at least the last 6–12 months, including drawdowns?

Strategy & risk: What strategy do you use (scalping, swing, long-term)? What’s the typical monthly return and maximum drawdown I should expect?

Capital & fees: Minimum deposit required, your management/commission fees, and any performance fees?

Withdrawals: Can clients withdraw profits anytime? Any lockups or withdrawal fees? Please show proof of successful withdrawals by real clients (not promises).

Regulation & identity: Are you a registered manager or affiliated with a regulated firm? If not, do you have verifiable references?

Security & custody: Who holds the funds — the trader or the investor’s own account? How are funds protected?

Communication & terms: Do you provide a written agreement that outlines responsibilities, fees, and dispute resolution?
